WASHINGTON -- President-elect Barack Obama said you won't catch him lighting up a cigarette in the smoke-free White House.
Asked in an interview with NBC's "Meet the Press" whether he has kicked the habit, the president-elect admits there are times when he's "fallen off the wagon." But he adds under the circumstances, he thinks he's "done a terrific job" of making himself "much healthier."

Did they ask if he kicked his other drug habits?
Smoking? No. Crack? Sure! Selling crack? Sure! Cheating on that vicious hump of a wife? You know it! Taking bribes from foreign terrorists? You betcha white boy!
Yeah, because his health is sure important to me!
He is talking about tobacco right?
All the things wrong with Barak Obama and all they can do is worry about his smoking cigarettes. I wonder how many cigars and cigarettes have been smoked in the WH. It seems to have made it through just fine. Good grief!
Will he still snort?
Hopefully he wont have an oppurtunity.
Deceptive headline.
First, he says to the press: “you won’t catch him.” Well, we know what that means, don’t we. The press won’t even TRY to catch him.
Then, he says there will be “no violations of the no-smoking rule in the White House.” But he forgets to add that the rules don’t apply to him.
How bout we help him out in that vow by not letting him occupy it to begin with until he produces a valid BC?

“Won’t catch him” are the key words. His security staff won’t let you near him until he’s finished and aired out, and changed clothes.

“you won’t catch him.” I believe it. That’s the history of his whole career - the invisible man.
Recent studies have shown that the overwhelming percentage of “air rage” incidents occurred on international flights of longer than 4 hours where smoking was banned.
These incidents were clearly related to nicotine deprivation.
I don’t the man with his finger on the nuclear trigger to be suffering from nicotine fits.
LET THE MAN SMOKE!
It's not about him smoking. It's about the supplier.

“Not being caught” smoking isn’t the same as not smoking.
Since his buddies in the media aren’t going to be looking to bust him on it, it shouldn’t be that difficult.
