About half way through reading this I was reminded of the movie where Admiral Kimmel rushes into his office during the bombing of Pearl Harbor and his aid starts rattlng off the damages.
Kimmel pounds the desk “The Battle ships man. What about the Battleships?”

I was wondering what party he belonged to. The article seems to skip over that detail. This is a news release from the US Attorney's office. If they are doing their job correctly, partisan details are not relevant.
However, that doesn't relieve the news organizations of their responsibility to provide the context.
