In this environment, the potential for blackmail is fantastic. Hell, even the feds/insiders or FBI could blackmail Obama if they had evidence he is involved, not to mention what Blago could do if he has damaging implicating information.

"W" pulled the trigger. As you recall he said he'd fire whoever it was identified Plame, and he did ~ Powell and Armitage.

Libby didn't get the memo that day or something, so "W" let Fitz spin the problem for months just to play with the Democrats.

Now he's told Fitz to get Blog and just quit playing around.

Statement: " President-elect Barack Obama was in no way implicated in the federal corruption charges against the governor of his home state of Illinois, a fellow Democrat, ... "

Response: Bwah-Hah-Hah. His participation will be covered up as failure to do so will spoil Reconstruction II.

OK, the MSM will "cover" for Obama, but Blog just tried to stiff arm Tribune ~ so how do they punish a Democrat who jumped the MSM reservation and still protect Obama.

Maybe Warren Buffett called some loans that put Tribune in bankruptcy.

You know, just because Blog talks of a future involvement of Buffett that doesn't mean Buffett hasn't already been involved in this stuff.

My guess is the Tribune got punished with bankruptcy for preparing stories to publish that would put down Blog and drag Obama, or at least that Jarrett woman along with him.

Fitzgerald said "there's no reference in the complaint to any conversations involving the president-elect or indicating that the president-elect was aware of it, and that's all I can say." His comment did not close the door on the possibility that Obama or someone on his staff may have known of some aspect of the governor's demands.

Axelrod is into ideology (he's the one with the lifelong Commie connections ~ his mother worked for IF Stone and IF Stone worked directly for Joe Stalin ~ don't get tighter than that).

Typical of his kind he finds real criminals entrancing (just like Joe Stalin in fact). That's how he ended up working with Obama and Deval Patrick.

At the same time as an idealogue the crooks will never let him into the inner sanctum so he'll never know which lie to tell when they get caught.

He thought "they're communicating" would work.

That's why the crooks don't cut these guys in on the real deals.

Obama's into politics for the loot!

I wonder if Blago will agree? Or Rezko?

Thank you for your insight.

I honestly didn't know that Axlerod's family is literally that close to Stalinism.

America is going to become a really dangerous place to live over the next few years with these DECEPTIVE COMMUNISTS in charge.

"I should make clear the complaint makes no allegations about the president-elect whatsoever," said U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald.

Full disclosure: I hired an illegal alien to write these questions that American journalists won't ask.

Remember this from Tom Clancy's Clear and Present Danger?
President Bennett ... "How dare you come in here and bark at me like some junkyard dog! I am the President of the United States!"

Jack ... "It gives me no pleasure to do it, sir. As acting deputy director of intelligence, it is my duty to report this matter to the Senate oversight committee."

President Bennett ... "You're not going to do that."

Jack ... "I'm not?"

President Bennett ... "No, no. You've got yourself a chip in the big game now. You're gonna tuck that away, you are going to save that for a time when your own ass is on the line and then you're gonna pull it out. And I'm going to cash it in for you. Right?"

Fitzgerald just got a BIG chip in the BIG game!

“I wonder how they will blame Bush for this?”

Pyschot Freepers with severe BDS syndrome are blaming GW on these threads.
