Who pulls Fitzmas's strings?

1. The Chicago machine

2. The Kansas City mob?

3. The Clintons? :-}

Just like Stalin was never held accountable for his millions of murders.

Stalinism is here to stay in the USA.

I am counting the months until FreeRepublic is shut down as a hate site.

Of course the DEAR LEADER will be protected from all exposure and complicity. In the MSM anyway. This is nothing new -— expect NOTHING from the MSM except defense for the non-defendable.

Crooks protecting crooks. Frauds protecting frauds.

This is a narrow complaint about two crooks. Sure, there are other crooks. However, they simply weren't identified as crooks in this particular complaint.

Fitzgerald was pretty clear in his Fitzmas Message that other stuff will happen.

Just plain GREED while he pretends to look out for the “under dog” - you know the usual Demoncrat lies and hypocrisy. Of course Obama will not have had a clue about this. Why, he was too busy hanging with other criminals and getting a cheap price for his house - Rezko or whatever his name is.

For the moment my friends, for the moment.

President-elect Barack Obama was in no way implicated in the federal corruption charges against the governor of his home state of Illinois,

I wonder how they will blame Bush for this?

That’s the way I read it too. That said, I think too that Fitz knows he may be gone come 1-20-09 and pull the trigger before then on anything else that may be there (Rezco has been singing). Time will tell...

Yeah, but he also said the investigation wasn't complete. Obama was obviously approached because the governor was mad at him for expecting his "guy" to be appointed w/out a quid pro quo. What's telling is the Obama campaign always has a comment prepared, it seems. They answer before there is a need to answer, but this time,

Obama aides would not immediately comment on the charges against the governor, but said the Obama transition office would be issuing a statement

They know they're treading on dangerous ground.

All he said was that the COMPLAINT makes no allegations about Obama. Not this one, at any rate.

It would be funny if Blago thought about “self-insurance” in his negotiations, e.g., his own tapes for off the phone meetings...

Fitzgerald was pretty clear in his Fitzmas Message that other stuff will happen.

If Rezko is talking, Obama will be implicated. Fitz is just going to make sure there are no stones unturned first. If Obama fires him, he will go public.

I'm sure the Senate Judiciary committee with do an extensive investigation into any firing of Fitzpatrick. /sarcasm

Obama committed a crime when he failed to report the attempted extortion by Blagojevich. Like trying to bribe a police officer. You can’t ignore that. Obama is guilty of a crime.

Fiztgerald told a news conference .. he had wanted to stop a "crime spree."

You betcha he wanted to stop it... as soon as he realized the governor was interested in an Obama administration appointment and that he might be calling Hussein to discuss details in the coming days.

This indictment doesn’t matter anymore. Obama will pull the plug on Fitzgerald and pardon Blagovitch.
