The clerk responded by spraying the suspect in the face with mace. That didn't deter the masked suspectUh oh... so mace isn't always effective?

I'm amazed that an armed man stood still to be maced--twice!
IMHO, that clerk was taking a huge chance of losing her life!

Hindsight being 20-20...the robber was at the door at 11:30 at night. In a perfect world, the homeowner would have taken his equalizer to the door when anwering. It would have been nice to greet the “I’m robbing you.” With a “I’m shooting you.” Just sayin’ in a perfect world....
