And he lost.....I voted McCain, for lack of a better choice. I don't think any of these bailouts are warranted, and by getting involved at all, it's screwing things up. In regards to mortgages...If someone makes a bad decision and gets a loan they cannot afford, that's their fault, and when they can't pay, the bank forecloses. Then someone else comes along and buys the same property. Maybe they make it, maybe they don't.....personal responsibility. As to auto-manufacturers, if they can't manage their business, they go under. Maybe someone buys it to run it, or maybe someone buys it to have a fire sale. Either way, the economy keeps going. Bad for those going out, but good for those seeking opportunity.
A world without losers has no winners either.
