There is absolutely no way anyone in this country can plead ignorance of how corrupt Chicago politicians are.

There is this story I heard that, on Election Day 1960, then-Mayor Richard Daley "got" John F. Kennedy the necessary votes to carry Illinois and defeat Richard Nixon.

Illinois has had every state beat as far as corruption forever, BHL&AEL&EE(before Huey Long and after Earl Long and Edwin Edwards). Illinois politics like the Democratic Party is an ongoing criminal enterprise.
