Methinks that whole Obama thing is a huge scam for skimming off billions of the gullibe fools (beside milking taxpayers that is). 15 bucks for an envelope with postcards of O and Joe? PONZIE!

biographical information

Obama has a biography? Maybe they'll include a miniature COLB?

BTW I always wanted Biden's mug on a piece of silk...

That’s what I thought of too. That and the Chinese New Years stamps after the tainted food scandals started.

Anything they sell in the post office is a total rip off. Have you seen what they charge for packing materials?

Packing materials, heck, look at the cost of stamps.

That is one branch of government that needs an audit.

This is getting ridiculous.

I have Dish Network and there is an Obama coin channel, an Obama plate channel as there was an Obama, Obama channel before the election

First-Ever Layoffs Loom at Postal Service

The U.S. Postal Service faces a serious financial shortfall that is accelerating reductions in its workforce and raising the possibility of the first-ever layoffs of career employees.

Reduced mail volume, rising costs, and a newly enacted cap on rate increases all have taken a toll on the Postal Service’s finances. A gradual shift to electronic communications and bill payment is shrinking the number of first-class letters, a mainstay of postal revenues. And the current economic downturn has led to drops in advertising mail volume.

But Postmaster General John Potter, after reporting losses of $2.3 billion in the fiscal year ending September 30, informed the unions that 16,000 craft employees (out of approximately 600,000) are not protected by contractual, seniority-based no-layoff clauses.

The Postal Service is offering early retirement which, based on acceptance rates thus far, will have around 7,000 takers.

FedEx Office announces 200 U.S. layoffs, 100 in DFW

FedEx Office, a division of FedEx Corp., announced Friday it’s laying off 200 people nationwide — 100 of which are located in the company’s North Texas offices.

Jenny Robertson, a spokesperson for FedEx Office, says the printing store operator initiated the cuts to increase the overall customer experience and increase the company’s long-term success. The impacted employees work at the company’s Galleria headquarters in Dallas and at its Plano office.

Affected staff members were released Friday. Robertson says impacted employees will receive benefits for a few months, as well as severance packages.

The reductions are part of a companywide realignment, which also includes the closing of 20 to 21 stores nationwide. At the moment, FedEx Office is evaluating every store's profitability to determine which locations will be closed.

FedEx Office has 2,000 stores worldwide. As part of its strategic realignment, FedEx also is closing 17 locations in other countries. The move will essentially eliminate all FedEx Office stores in Mexico, Australia and the Netherlands.

I can’t help but think that the exposure of O as a fraud would stimulate the economy more than his inauguration ever will. Think about it - all those coins, plates, stamps, stickers, trashy souvenirs will have to be created for the real president. Think of all the manufacturing jobs! All those wackos will need therapy - think of the boon that would be to shrinks & counselors! And medication! OH my, between self medication, OTC and prescriptions we’d be in the black overnight!

Jenny Robertson, a spokesperson for FedEx Office, says the printing store operator initiated the cuts to increase the overall customer experience

A statement like that is beyond belief. I'd have to resign before I could stand in front of the public and say some utter foolishness like that. I think I'm starting to hate corporations as much as government. They're both about as full of crap. Here's what you should have said Jenny: "I'm a corporate spokesperson. But please don't tell my mother, she thinks I play piano in a whorehouse".

Actually, I think this is great. I consider it to be a tax on the stupid and gullible. It doesn’t begin to balance the exorbitant and excessive taxes on the middle class and up, but at least it’s a tiny step in the right direction.

Tomorrow is a birthday for Obama: the birth of the Bogus COLB:

BORN: JUNE 12, 2008 8:12am

I'll be throwing it tomorrow. Stop by for some cake, ice cream, and your own, commemorative COLB image.

The made a commemorative plate so fast the results from IN and NC weren’t final so there are “undecided” electoral votes listed.
