You can thank Senator McCain and that travesty of a campaign he ran for hussein's victory, not voters.

Let me tell you somethin'. McCain did NOT run a "travesty of a campaign." I take it you did not work on the campaign as some of us did.

Barry Obama had 3 times as much money to spend and 4 times as many workers in the field as McCain did. McCain did hang back pre-convention, but once Sarah Palin was nominated and the convention was complete, he came alive and campaigned as passionately as he ever has. It was full steam ahead. And I am saying this as someone who has some serious criticisms of him politically.

But I am tired of seeing the internet princesses whining about the campaign, which was the best it could be given the resources available. Not perfect enough for a princess, but good enough for the solid core of Republicans to come out and vote for him.

Most to blame ARE the idiots who voted for BHO, and the reality that he had ONE BILLION DOLLARS to spend.

Try actually WORKING on a campaign and then tell me what a travesty is.

Obama is like Mel Tillis—sings a great song but stammers and stutters without the lyrics.

Don’t look for many press conferences from duhh—uhhh—ummm Obama.

At least the inarticulate Bush knew what he was talking about—though he was often wrong.

Darn, with all this commotion going on, I almost forgot that Barry is an illegal alien...

Do you think this whole blago thing was setup to distract us from the Birth Certification scandal? /s

Don’t complain. Be the media.

Wikipedia allows ANYONE to begin/edit an article.

GREAT IDEA!!!

Many of us campaigned hard to keep the ONE out of the Oval Office... many of those who sat on the sidelines should look at their own failure to act and quit placing blame on others.
I had many problems with McCain, but I have more serious concerns with Obie. Sometimes you have to play the hand you are dealt and if you choose to fold... then you deserve to lose.

Also... no, I won’t be gracious toward a Prez. Obama, or should I say, I will be only as gracious as the looney tooney lefties were toward President Bush.

Why are you attacking?

Is that what a positive encouragement of "Be the media" to weegee's negativism means to you?

Do you listen to yourself?

Is that what you think FR is for?

I'm beginning to think it's entirely possible that FR does more damage to the conservative cause each day than all Wiki articles combined by doing little more than stirring up division among people who would otherwise be on the same side of the voting booth in 1980 or 1984.

Look at post 368 and tell me why that's not a legitimate response to a reasonable post, and then tell me if you think your high-as-a-cat's-back reaction is reasonable.

I have no intention of putting any personal information on this site archived via google, such as which wiki articles or wnd articles etc etc, I've written etc. Like I said, I might as well post my name and address and phone number on DU for that matter. Ask buckhead how that went for him .

Pick on a lib why don't you instead?

Yes, the folks on here that bait others that are in their camp definitely do more harm than good. Thanks for pointing it out to me. Why you lumped me into your post #250 behooves me unless you are one of them. Thanks for your “positive” encouragement for those who don’t need it and have not requested it. Have a great night!

Let me tell you somethin'. McCain did NOT run a "travesty of a campaign." I take it you did not work on the campaign as some of us did.

No, I was too busy busting my ass on active duty to make sure you had the option.

Barry Obama had 3 times as much money to spend and 4 times as many workers in the field as McCain did.

Gee, now why is that? Could it be that Senator McCain's democrat-lite record was less than inspiring to many Republican "base" voters? Think that could have something to do with it?

McCain did hang back pre-convention

No, he didn't. He acted like a damned democrat and managed to anger damn near everyone he needed to get out the vote.

but once Sarah Palin was nominated and the convention was complete, he came alive and campaigned as passionately as he ever has.

Too little, too late. He was nominated Sarah to unite the base and then locked her away to keep her from angering the jelly-spined "moderates" that didn't come to him anyway. And when his travesty of a campaign failed, as many of us figured it would, they immediately dumped on the only good decision he made: Sarah.

And I am saying this as someone who has some serious criticisms of him politically

But apparently not enough intellectual honesty to see what really happened.

But I am tired of seeing the internet princesses whining about the campaign

Well, at least we agree on something.

which was the best it could be given the resources available

Bullsh!t! Senator McCain was given so many opportunities to hand hussein and biden their asses that it made me glad they are not my daughters. They made it easy and he did nothing.

Not perfect enough for a princess, but good enough for the solid core of Republicans to come out and vote for him.

You call not being able to pull more than 80% solid?

Most to blame ARE the idiots who voted for BHO, and the reality that he had ONE BILLION DOLLARS to spend.

There was so much dirty money in that campaign that all the Tide in the world would not have gotten it clean. Yet another wasted hanging curve ball that Senator McCain could not bring himself to swing at.

Try actually WORKING on a campaign and then tell me what a travesty is.

I can tell you what a travesty of a campaign is, I watched him botch the damn thing since day one. And that was without even breaking a sweat.

My 250 responded to weegee's #228 to you about wikipedia. Bite my head off, first though, okay?

Sheesh.

Thanks for your “positive” encouragement for those who don’t need it and have not requested it.

What a vicious personality.

“But I am tired of seeing the internet princesses whining about the campaign, which was the best it could be given the resources available.”

Could that possibly have anything to do with McCain-Feingold? You know, that brilliant piece of legislation.

the Libs have set up many sites trying to get Dems to move to areas so they can make those states blue.

I remember years ago a fanatical Lib saying that he was getting as many people to move to NC in the triangle area so eventually one day the state will be blue.

They started off in the north east and are moving more and more into the south.

Maybe it is time for every conservative in the north east to get out of there and stop giving money to those liberal causes plus making now swing states go red again.
On the west coast they are getting Libs out of CA to go into CO,NM,AZ.
They have now managed to make NH blue and sadly that was the last part of the north east to not be wacko Lib.
Remember years ago VT was the most conservative state in the union.
How times change hey
I say conservatives and not republicans as some republicans I have met up there seem OK with homo marriage, abortion etc.

Sad thing is though most in the country do not realise what the Libs are up to.
