All things being equal is it legal to only deny pay raises to those who belong to a Union?
Fwiw, while searching for this story, I saw it was posted on Huffington Post.
The wackos there say that NPR "shills for Republicans".
Believe it or not.
The NY Times has non-union workers?!!
The shame of it all.
I thought libs wanted any company with non-union workers to go under.
Well then obviously it is time to do in NPR. If it is nothing more than a REPUB machine, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi must want it gone. Sounds like the perfect cover for action.
I don't remember NPR shilling for Repubs.
Can you imagine Nina Totenberg saying anything nice to Republicans? LOL.
... you can always take an elevator to the rooftop to think about your... future.
Interesting: I flew to LA with a Hollywood costume designer, who said the same thing-—that everything was going internet download. I hope she means to DVR/TiVo, as nothing would be worse than trying to watch a show on my comp.
Oh yeah. Never mind.
So much sad news on FR today with the mediots in more trouble and predictions that oil may drop to $10/barrel.
I have to cut this reply short before my tears ruin my new keyboard.

Hartford officials plan to meet again next week on fate of newspapers
This is what happens when one half of your potential customers are cheesed off at you because of your product.
The newsprint MSM is the worst run industry in the US. Absolutely ignorant of business.
The old three-network model we all grew up with is gone. The only thing left is for their news divisions to be melded into a cable model which I think wont be long.
The issue in that scenario is the preservation of the "objectivity" scam. There is only so much market for left - wing agenda-setting masquerading as - in the immortal words of Walter Cronkite - "and that's the way it is." No possibility of rebuttal, or different viewpoints being legitimate. Only "anti-establishment" protests sponsored by the real establishment, Big Journalism.
