It's official: Barack Obama elected 44th president 3 hours ago
RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Presidential electors have formally elected Barack Obama the nation's 44th president.
Electors gathering in state capitols across the country have pushed Obama above the 270 electoral votes needed to win, according to a tally by The Associated Press. Obama takes office Jan. 20, becoming the nation's first black president.
Monday's voting was a largely ceremonial procedure, but one mandated by the Constitution. Obama defeated Republican Sen. John McCain in the Nov. 4 election.
More than 131 million voters cast ballots — the most ever in a presidential election. But Obama's election will not be complete until Congress tallies the outcome of Monday's Electoral College vote at a joint session scheduled for Jan. 6.

So true! Actually all of the Democrat politicians have figured it out. Remember Hillary's primary campaign ad back in December of 2007 right before Christmas? She was next to a Christmas tree picking up wrapped packages with things like "Health Care" written on them and then pretending to hand them out to the public?

Interesting that the actual totals are not given. If there were "faithless electors" who voted for someone other than The One, or The Beer Barron of Arizona, that would be an interesting data point. And it could become a critical one.

Maybe the SCOTUS have interpreted the Law to mean that a President "cannot serve" unless he is a natural-born citizen.
In that case he isn’t interested.

Let me elaborate, my point is that I am gonna show him ZERO respect because that is how much respect Democrats have given Bush.

More importantly, neither do our children or grandchildren. Mine are around now, but most of us will have them, now or later.
They don't deserve to be left the mess that this guy will create. He'll make FDR look like a piker when it comes to growing government and giving it more control over our lives. And that's the most optimistic thing I can say about his likely "legacy". It could be far worse.
