I’m confused by all these protesters. So are they saying they wanted Saddam in there this entire time?? So what, this wasn’t a perfect war. We’ve stated we’re going to leave in 2012.

Are these groups of people the ones that were the beneficiaries of the Saddam regime (i.e. the towns he took care of) while others were raped and tortured?

Someone explain.

His brother said...

Consider the source, first and foremost.

aw gee, this saddens me deeply! As several columnists have said today, if this had happened in Sadam’s Iraq, he would have been tortured and killed pretty quickly - probably along with family members! As an American, I was offended by this yo-yo! What really infuriates me is that because of the deaths of over 4,000 fine young men and women, he has the freedom to pull this stunt and he (and our media idiots) don’t even seem to realize it!

I dare say most of his injuries occured during the first 30 seconds. The Secret Service types are not going to be particularly gentle while subduing somebody, in that situation. Nor should they be.

I got no problem with this.

He’s saying this, I trust, to express gratitude and amazement that his idiot brother is still alive? To express his shame and mortification at his idiot brother’s actions? To let the world know what a benevolent and kind country America is, when any other nation would have disappeared his idiot brother once an useful information was wrung out of his miserable carcass?

I dont dig what he did desrespecting our POTUS but beating the man to a bloody pulp does not fit the crime.

I heard one MSM news outlet say when the USSS escorted him out of the press room he was bloody.

I dont believe that.

Considering that he doesn’t have a shoe embedded deep in his intestines means he got off too easy.

>>>I think he should be thrown in prison for a long time,<<<

Agree. . .appropriate punishment for the crime.

>>> but I actually don’t think it shows that Iraq is moving in the right direction when he’s beaten in jail instead of questioned.<<<

First, most importantly, because he was not just hauled out, tortured and shot, and his family done the same, speaks volumes about how far they have moved in the right direction. Besides, this “report” is based upon his brother and reported by the BBC. . . .I am sure there is no misinformation, there.

I was very impressed with President Bush’s reflex action when the first shoe flew. He looked like a 20 year old with his reflex time.

This idiot did a great job of showing the world what a wack job a small portion of Iraqis are. This moron will never understand freedom means actually being able to do & say things without getting a bullet in the head.

He was smiling as he ducked. I loved his reaction. It was one of “The US Military and my decision to send them here gave these people the freedom to do just this” and that is real freedom.
