ANCHORAGE, Alaska – An accelerant was poured around the exterior of Gov. Sarah Palin's church before fire heavily damaged the building, federal investigators said Monday. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said the accelerant was poured at several locations around the church, including entrances.

It is appalling, but not surprising, how little major media attention this fire has received..... aside from Dave Letterman attempting to "joke" about it of course.
Can anyone imagine such Mediascum indifference if Obama's "former" church or the church of ANY national Democrat had been torched????????
We would be getting Mediascum stories up the Wazoo about racism, evilllllll right-wingers etc. etc. etc.
Here we have the church of a gasp, conservative national candidate getting torched after months of Mediascum trashing of her religion, and the whole matter is just a big yawn.
Without knowing anything about who the perp(s) might be, we can only assume that it could not be a leftist sleazeball "inspired" by the Mediascum trashing of Governor Palin and her church, because of course leftist freakcases never do things like that.

You would see David Letterman crying on his show demanding vengeance, but for Sarah’s church, he thinks its the coolest thing ever. Liberals make me so sick with their hypocrisy.

I didn’t interpret her words on not getting rich in office as a sign that she would reject a book deal. I have always suspected that she would take the book deal, and donate the proceeds to charity. Doing such a thing would stun the MSM since they are a greedy and value-free lot at best.

State commission recommends pay raise for state officials

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Gov. Sarah Palin says she would not accept a raise recommended by the State Officers Compensation Commission.
Palin spokesman Bill McAllister said Wednesday that if the Legislature submits legislation for a raise, Palin will not accept the money.
Instead, if the raise is approved, she will subtract the difference from her current salary and donate it to charity or find a way to redirect the funds for the benefit of others, McAllister said.
The comment comes in response to reports Tuesday that the State Officers Compensation Commission is recommending the governor’s annual salary be increased from $125,000 to $150,000.
McAllister says Palin never asked for a raise and that the review of top salaries is mandated by a recently passed state law.
The commission is also recommending that all lawmakers be paid $50,000. That standard would replace a variable compensation range and eliminate long-term per diem payments.

I didn’t see it (don’t watch Letterman) but I heard that he made some crack about how “Joe the Arsonist” was responsible — yeah, big ha ha.
No way would the Mediascum or liberal entertainers “allow” anyone to get away with mocking an arson attack on a liberal church, especially a “black” church, especially with people inside!!

The fact that McCain would be all over the airwaves denouncing any comparable act against Obama’s “Trinity Church” shows how much McCain has absorbed the assumptions and outlook of the media. This arson against Governor Palin’s church, with HUMAN BEINGS INSIDE, simply is no big deal at all to our cultural overlords.
