What did that illiterate Litterman have to say? And please tell me the audience boo’ed him.
I didn’t interpret her words on not getting rich in office as a sign that she would reject a book deal. I have always suspected that she would take the book deal, and donate the proceeds to charity. Doing such a thing would stun the MSM since they are a greedy and value-free lot at best.

State commission recommends pay raise for state officials

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Gov. Sarah Palin says she would not accept a raise recommended by the State Officers Compensation Commission.
Palin spokesman Bill McAllister said Wednesday that if the Legislature submits legislation for a raise, Palin will not accept the money.
Instead, if the raise is approved, she will subtract the difference from her current salary and donate it to charity or find a way to redirect the funds for the benefit of others, McAllister said.
The comment comes in response to reports Tuesday that the State Officers Compensation Commission is recommending the governor’s annual salary be increased from $125,000 to $150,000.
McAllister says Palin never asked for a raise and that the review of top salaries is mandated by a recently passed state law.
The commission is also recommending that all lawmakers be paid $50,000. That standard would replace a variable compensation range and eliminate long-term per diem payments.

Again and again Sarah shows me that she is the female Ronald Reagan, this America, this is why the libs hate her, show me another politician, or Governor who would NOT accept a pay raise because they wouldn’t feel right about it. Euram, that may be- Would not make a difference to our mutual point- she is not going to personally “cash in”—Just my opinion- wouldn’t blame her if she did- But, I think her sincere belief is that a public office holder shouldn’t get rich doing public business.

I didn’t see it (don’t watch Letterman) but I heard that he made some crack about how “Joe the Arsonist” was responsible — yeah, big ha ha.
No way would the Mediascum or liberal entertainers “allow” anyone to get away with mocking an arson attack on a liberal church, especially a “black” church, especially with people inside!!
It’s incredible how severe the double-standards are when it comes to basic humanity — conservative Christians just don’t count as human for clowns like Letterman.

The fact that McCain would be all over the airwaves denouncing any comparable act against Obama’s “Trinity Church” shows how much McCain has absorbed the assumptions and outlook of the media. This arson against Governor Palin’s church, with HUMAN BEINGS INSIDE, simply is no big deal at all to our cultural overlords.
It doesn’t matter to the NY Times and WaPo, so why should it matter to the rest of us? /s
