ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Gov. Sarah Palin says she would not accept a raise recommended by the State Officers Compensation Commission. Palin spokesman Bill McAllister said Wednesday that if the Legislature submits legislation for a raise, Palin will not accept the money. Instead, if the raise is approved, she will subtract the difference from her current salary and donate it to charity or find a way to redirect the funds for the benefit of others, McAllister said.

Watch for her to sign a multimillion dollar book deal sometime within the next month or two, and donate the proceeds to charity. That’s the way she is, and that’s the way she’s going to be. Cut the state budget, reject a pay raise, what more can we ask for. Next, she’ll say she wants to defend our borders, and require people to speak English of all things.
I can hardly wait to see the defamatory spin the media puts on this. On the other hand they will probably keep it hushed up.

I tell ya, what a woman. She deserves a raise but won’t accept it, doesn’t feel its right, if she does get it, she will donate it to charity or give the money back to the people of Alaska. Again and again Sarah shows me that she is the female Ronald Reagan, this America, this is why the libs hate her, show me another politician, or Governor who would NOT accept a pay raise because they wouldn’t feel right about it. I adore this woman, Ronny would be so proud, he is smiling from heaven right now
