I've been reading a bit of history lately and I'm perfectly confident the nation will survive. The US is a resilient creature and can handle a poor administration, or two, or three. While I think we are in a very dangerous time due to the coming of age of a generation corrupted by liberal control of the schools (and I work in a school).

Funny thing, I work in a school, too. In fact I've been teaching both history and American Government for nearly 20 years at the secondary level with the last 12 in an inner city high school. The problem may lie with the type of historical research you have been conducting and the resources used. Also there is a danger in viewing history from a disjointed perspective when the reality of the last 100 years has been the universal drive to global government.

You can track the initiatives since the Presidency of Woodrow Wilson and in some administrations you'll find scant evidence of movement while in others the gains in this arena have been massive. Whether it has been in the nature of treaties signed, regulations expanded, freedoms restricted or social philosophy advanced. It all comes down to an inexorable creep in the same direction. This drive has nothing to do with political party or ideological viewpoints. It does have to do with money, power and elitism. If I mention the group of organizations that make up the usual suspects many folks are going to start crying "TIN FOIL HATTERY!" But time is running out on that old dodge of the ostrich. Too many overt moves have been made since the original President made the term New World Order a part of popular American lexicon: George H.W. Bush.

There is a potential blind spot in your own paradigm that I would attach to your tag. If you're an atheist (I mean no disrespect or attempt to evangelize here) or if you have not ever been grounded in a basic overview of specifically Christian prophesy it's going to be more difficult to assign a value to the significance of certain current or historical events in the light of a newly emergent geopolitical landscape. It's going to be more difficult to see the forest for the trees. But make no mistake, the view of a global society is still crystal clear if you can connect the secular dots correctly. You don't have to look at this from a solely Christian perspective for the end game to become clear.

Taken in the vein of a creeping progression to achieve global government this nation has not suffered through one, two or three poor administrations. It has been gradually fractured by a long succession of many administrations whittling away at the foundations of democracy even as our society has divorced itself from the moral compass needed to support a successful Constitutional Republic and the basic requirements of limited government. Society has devolved from the rugged individualist to the whining hand wringing supplicant of the nanny state. That is not an accident.

XXXX the cultural marxist agenda BS!

I agree with your opinion. Fortunately, the actual weather has a good chance of undermining the biggest fraud since Piltdown man, anthropogenic global warming/climate change.

No, not an accident, it was all set out in the “Communist Manifesto 1963”, as presented to Congress.

That's a bizarre thing to say seeing how I never even mentioned WHAT I was reading. You don't know what I've read or how I came to my conclusions; have the courtesy to not judge what you simply do not know.
