We’ll have to wait and see what St. Fitzmas puts in Blago’s stocking for Christmas but I am betting on coal, hard coal.

Oh I hope this keeps getting nastier and nastier. Keeps it in the news. Poor Lisa Madigan,,,this is not the news she was looking for (sarc). I hope Blago fights until his last breath, not because he’s innocent but because he can!

Well yes, but don’t they have to prove the evidence was illegally obtained?
It’s a good thing it wasn’t gotten from the Martin’s and given to Rep. Jim McDermott. Then transcripts would be published and all would know about Obama’s dirty deal with Blago. Oh wait, Blago is a Democrat, never mind.

A lawyer for Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich told state lawmakers Thursday that the federal wiretaps at the heart of the pay-to-play allegations against his client were illegally obtained, and therefore should be kept out of any impeachment proceedings. Pretty much what you would expect but, get a Judge who is a Clinton appointee or is like minded and Blago is home free.

He's innocent:
First, he never said those things.
Second, the tapes of him saying them were illegally obtained and shouldn't be allowed.
Finally, what he said was legal because he's the governor and he's allowed to sell the Senate seat.

The only thing that matters is that the DEMS want Blago out of office. They don’t really care about corruption or whether or not he is convicted. They just need him out-of-the-way for their dear leader’s PR.

... plus, the FBI got his name wrong on the search warrant.
It's 'Blagojevich', not 'Blagojavich'. Doesn't count. Investigation over.

Hey, he’s a defense attorney, that’s what he’s paid to do. Remember this guy represented R. Kelly.
I read a description of the process the US Attorney used to get approval for these wiretaps and it seems absolutely solid. They were most likely approved by the US AG himself due to the nature of the target.
