I have some red flags going up here...
Greta discussing it now...
Correct me if I’m wrong, but this reminds of Fyodor Dostoevsky’s “Crime and Punishment” (that I had to read in high school) where the guilty party couldn’t stand being guilty.
Odd development ping
The guy reported the cops did not follow up..
I am sure he went home every night waiting for the news to say a body has been found in the woods..
The police are at fault here..
Protect and serve my ass....
Me too. Funny, this comes out after Casey gets a dream team.
A gift to the Defense lawyers.
This guy will be tried by her Dream Team.
I mind my own business and ignore any bodies I find.
One word:
REWARD
I think this guy was thinking he might be lucky enough to collect the reward offered by Padilla. So he just kept on phoning in “tips”, hoping to hit the Bingo.
Maybe not the most noble of motives, but rewards don’t require noble motives.
Did investigators find Caylee Anthony’s book at search site?

Not a suspect? Yea, sure. Lawyer up and do it fast.
Odd. Very odd. However, I still believe the mother is guilty. The smell of death in her trunk and failing to report her little daughter missing for so long cinches it for me.
This case has just taken a major turn from ordinary made-for-TV movie to epic Gone With The Wind proportions.
Nancy Graceless must be in heaven.
This all sounds odd, but I have a theory. It is possible that the meter reader was actually playing detective on his own. This case horrified so many people on so many levels- the meter reader worked in the area of Caylee’s house and may have been actively looking for her body all this time. He likely wouldn’t say that- for many reasons but that is what I think he was doing.
I have to admit if I lived in the area I would have had a sharp eye for things I thought were amiss; I would not have set out to find her body- but I would want it found and if I thought I saw something or had an idea I would likely tip the authorities. I think most of us would in that situation, no one wants to think about a child especially just being dumped somewhere.
As no good deed goes unpunished I am sure this man will be drug through the muck of the trial but I do understand why he got involved.
