That is EXACTLY the point. It isn’t about the specifics of the act. The issue is that sex out side of marriage is a sin, regardless of the mechanics. nd the Bible clearly defines marriage as between a man and a woman.

If some poeple are born gay then what does that do to the all people are born equal notiton?
If people are born as homos then surely they can be born superior to other human beings or inferior to others or they can be born as pedophiles or they can be born as murderers and on and on.
Liberals/socialist/progressives have always fought the death penalty because they claim everyone can change, that people can be rehabilitated. If that is true why not homosexuals? Or do we stop arresting people and putting them in jail for rape because they were born that way?

I don’t understand why but humanity was put on this earth with a number of questionable proclivities.

People will have sex with children, same sex, multiple partners, and inanimate objects. Left unchecked, these desires will destroy a person.

It’s similar to to alcoholism and drug addiction. God made some people more inclined to destroy their lives with chemicals, is it right for them to do so?

We were not put here with those proclivities. We were fashioned "in the image and likeness of God" and we originally had none of those traits. They are the result of our fallen state once sin entered the world.

A couple of questions for Ann...

In “Nature,” when a new male lion takes over a pride, it will immediately kill all the cubs of the former pride leader. Since it’s “natural,” should a newly married man kill the young children of an ex-husband?

In “Nature,” it’s not uncommon for chimps to hunt other chimps, and often there is cannibalism. Since it’s “natural,” do be support the idea of eating human flesh?

Ann, honey... The thing that sets us apart from the animals in nature is our ability to decide NOT to follow our base desires, and become MORE than what nature has in store for us... That’s what makes us HUMAN.

I’ve used a similar argument. Also, when people say that we have to supply condoms to teenagers because “it would be stupid to think they won’t have sex”, I ask them what about the boy who is a nerd or is ugly and no girl will go out with him. We expect boys and men to refrain from sex if they can’t find a willing partner, so apparently it IS possible to refrain from sex.

And some people are born with birth defects, such as Downs Syndrom. Quite a few liberals advocate aborting these babies. Will being born homosexual be considered a "birth defect?" Yeah, right... If being homosexual does turn out to be genetic, I can see a huge battle between the liberals brewing, between the "abortion for any reason" supporters and the homosexual lobby. Once a test for "the homosexual gene" is found, what happens when an expectant parent decides not to carry the child to term. I think that things will get very ugly, but we'll probably see a "happy medium," where abortion is OK for every reason EXCEPT this one...
