Thanks, iopscusa: it’s my—twisted—pleasure to monitor and report on this stuff. What bugs me about Curry is her lack of authenticity, the feigned outrage playing to her liberal crowd.
The asssumption of “sex will happen”, and further, that you’ll be “unhealthy” if you don’t engage in it,
has been the platform from which liberals have been sexualizing children at younger and younger ages.
Refuse to accept their premise.
Joel McHale has fun with that one doesn’t he?
Purpsoe Driven sex?
ROIFL!!! He forgot to add: "That rules you out, you hatchet-faced harridan!"
A meant humanity in present tense.
Every human being seems to have an area where they are bent for destruction whether greed, lust or even the desire to eat to the point of early death.
At one time, religion and society put guide posts up that kept most from self destruction. The guide posts are being pulled up one at a time and it is destroying our society.
“Rick Warren had a surprisingly candid response to Ann Curry’s question as to whether he would change his views on homosexuality if it were established that people are born gay”
Come on! Morality is about what OUGHT to be, not what IS. We knew this 2000 years ago,l and have apparently forgotten it.
I want someone to ask Curry whether she would ease off damning homophobes if it were discovered that they are born that way.
Gay marriage is actually discrimination against straight single couples without children. Most gay couples don’t have children and so the only qualification for marriage rights is their sexual orientation.
'Natural' expresses not only what something happens to be, but what it ought to be, given the type of thing it is.
People are so ignorant these days they can't distinguish a violent accident contrary to nature from nature itself.
Every human being, past, present, and future, is born into this world with a fallen sin nature that is bent away from God and is at enmity with God.
This is why people have evil, vile proclivities and that is why, apart from salvation in Christ, man is enslaved to sin and why the mind of man can find ways to justify the most perverted and evil acts imaginable.
With the widespread rejection of God in this society, and with the complete lack of respect and fear of Him rampant, the most depraved behavior choices are now out in the open, are forced on people as a result of "diversity" regulations, and protected by laws which are enacted by government which itself is elected by a majority of the people.
The clock will never be turned back and, without a national repentance and turning back to God, the situation will only get worse.
Curry demostrated exquisitely the liberal dictum that failure/refusal to approve of homosexuality, or of any other of liberaldom’s sacred cows, cannot possibly be rational but only a manifestation of personal hatred.
When cornered they inevitably resort to charges of personal hatred or racism.
I like his answer too (I’m a married woman). Makes perfect sense to me. Great argument.
No, really, is that Ann’s actual reaction shot? Bwah.
Richard D. Warren, you, sir, are the man.
I was referring to Jimma Carter and his famous Playboy interview.
It is about people being stupid; not perverted.
They will sidestep the issue by simply deciding that developing or using a test for gayness will be considered a hate crime.
Any researcher working on such a test, any doctor offering to use such a test, any lab offering to process such a test will be run out of the medical field.
Very good point. However, don’t assume liberal consistency is anything but an oxymoron.
This is reality, we are not ANIMALS, animals have urges and act on them. Humans have the capacity to not act on every urge they have. This is the falacy of the homosexuality myth, by the argument that they have urges and no one should judge them for acting upon them is simply stating they are nothing more than animals.
Oh and for the record this bimbette was just rude and needlessly confrontational at least in the part of the interview that I saw.
I remember, the stupidity existed on many levels but the most glaring is discussing morality in Playboy.
I thought the very same.
