If I was Blago I would not ride that State airplane to Springfield either. Good job Governor. You fight the good fight because you did not get to where you are by being a quitter. You did not do anything different than that all of those around you in Illinois have been doing and continue to do but they don’t get charged with anything. For that reason, I think you would convince the public and trier of fact that you did not do anything wrong by talking about and establishing all of the things that were done by those around you in Illinois, including the new president of the United States. There are the same legal standards as a regular criminal trial when it comes to impeachment.
