My grandfather was a 3rd Army Sergeant, he didn't talk much about any of WWII or Patton. Until his funeral, I hadn't known about his two bronze stars and some other awards. They are in a frame with a folded flag in my grandmother's den.

I am not that conspiracy minded, however, I think there is more to GSP's demise than will ever be known and I would lay odds if anything was, the Sovs had a big hand in it. I bet it tore him up spending his last hours laid up instead of being on a battlefield.

If I have to go to war, I want a Patton type in charge. There don't seem to be many around.

No, you are right, he did not root out the commies in our government. And there were others who were also guilty or ignorant of that threat.

He was a soldier early in his life and recognized for his bravery.

He was also a judge before WWII, and hammered out the Central Arizona Project. (Water rights agreement for the Western states) I became aware of this while I lived in NM. Had friends who were involved in water rights law there.

Interesting, I had been following developments the last few years on this story. Ollie North had a segment on some of this info about Patton on Foxnews War Stories.

Rommel & Patton, similar duties, similar fates?

Just finished a long book series about the OSS written by Griffin called ‘Men At War’. Highly recommended. Judging by what other things Donovan did, this isn't a surprise.

“Interesting fact: Beatrice Patton had gone out to dinner when the end came. When she came back, he was gone. Patton supposedly died alone.”

A nurse was sitting with him and she sensed he was dead and then called the doctors and Beatrice who were in the hospital mess hall.

I have done a lot of reading on the Reds in FDR's administration. Hisses wife was apart of the Social Worker Network in New York and was linked to Hopkins.

My father died in 1960 but the lectures that he gave me when I traveled with him, He was a salesman for Lever Brothers, gave me a life long interest in the subject of Communist influence in America.

I won't start on my Grandfathers views on FDR, First Dictator of the United States. I had a good up bringing.

At the time, to many in the U.S. government, the Rooskies, especially Uncle Joe, were more than allies.

My grandfather was an attorney who hated FDR-the attempts to “pack” the Supreme Court, etc.

Donovan would have done what he was told to. Consider who was C-in-C at the time. Truman would ultimately be accountable for Patton’s criticism of entertaining communist interests.

I’m increasingly convinced . . .

that the blokes who insist that it’s all been

. . .

a modern version of bread and circuses . . . to keep us distracted while they set up the global satanic government . . . are quite correct.

ALL the players were bit puppets . . . bit players . . .

some more overtly evil and complicit than others. All hand-picked . . . all directed, orchestrated from under the table, behind closed doors . . .

Like I said, I don’t believe the story about the assassination but would like to see it investigated a little more.

Yes, let's go dust for prints!

Perhaps we could locate the Volkswagens that the junked vehicles were turned into and spray them with Luminol.

My Grandfather hated FDR's subversion of the Constitution which he considered a God Inspired Document.

That’s why my Grandfather hated him, too. My Grandfather graduated from Law School in 1904 and was well versed and considered an authority on Constitutional Law. Our Grandfathers definately would have been on the same side.

It IS a plot from a spy novel.

Can’t remember which one, but it begins with Patton’s accident, which the assassin then follows up with a low-velocity, large diameter rubber bullet to the head — precisely what this report claims

Mine graduated from what is now BYU in 1906, there seems to have been a consensus.

Mine graduated from the University of Colorado in 1904. Those old gentlemen would be besides themselves today. Maybe they met each other at one time.

Thought it was Max Von Sydow with a rubber bullet, to steal Nazi gold.

"Thought it was Max Von Sydow with a rubber bullet, to steal Nazi gold."

It was Col. Mustard, in the hospital, with a lead pipe.

God created George Patton for one purpose. When that was over, He needed him for another mission elsewhere.

Patton also believed he had been reincarnated as a warrior many times throughout history:

General George S. Patton - died December 21, 1945

General David Petraeus - born November 7, 1952

Well...?
