The pregnant Alaska teen sees a much more wholesome career ahead of her. In a thank-you letter to author Tori Krop, which she wrote after Krop sent her a copy of her book "The Joy of Pregnancy," Palin wrote: "You have my dream job! I have always been interested in pediatric nursing, and you've inspired me!"

It wonderful. But the media doesn’t care. They like savage political hunger like princess kennedy.

Dear Nick,
Don't you know it's far more important to report that the mother of the guy who knocked up this slut is a drug addict?

Why haven’t they married? Is a paternity test something that needs to be done post delivery?

Unfortunately, the media will continue to trash this family for years to come.

Good for Bristol. After all she could have been interested in a career in journalism, or prostitution. But I repeat myself.

They were never going to get married. Levi even said that he never wanted kids. I LOVE Sarah but people need to stop praising her daughter about keeping her baby. She should have never gotten pregnant in the first place. I hope Piper and Willow do not end up like Bristol.

I have my doubts as to whether marriage was ever in the cards
IMO, you shouldnt spend too much time examining Sarah Palin. She served her purpose to a point - to distract republicans from the absolutely unacceptable POS McCain. But she really cant stand up to casual scrutiny. For instance, her conservative credentials were shot to hell the moment she accepted the VP spot on a ticket with McCain. Others boast of her christian and pro-family positions and I guess thatd be true if your definition of pro-family and christian is someone that thinks its terribly cute to raise a daughter that runs around like a feral slut and whelps bastard kids. Realistically it probably isnt that uncommon - and Id not be shocked in the least if we were talking about some inner-city hood rat. But for someone seeking a VP (or presidential) position? No dice. I have significantly higher expectations of conduct for a conservative (and particularly a Christian and pro-family) candidate. Sarah Palin isnt even going to get off the ground. Shes no more appropriate for the position than Giuliani or Gutless Wonder or McCain or any other republican, IMO. And who might be your 'walk on water' conservative candidate. We are all sinners, but at least conservatives recognize there is sin.

"I LOVE Sarah but people need to stop praising her daughter about keeping her baby." I guess you would prefer that she had an abortion??? Yeah, it would have been better if she had held that aspirin tighter between her knees, but there is zero wrong with her keeping her child.

Post 13 - Do you allege that Gov Palin is neither a conservative nor a Christian?

It is though a “BFD” to Gov Palin’s daughter. Is there anything wrong with reading a positive article regarding one who I'm sure is a sweet and bright young lady?

Where do you get off judging this girl? Do you personally know her? So she got pregnant and the father is a guy she has dated for years. Seems to me she is no different than a lot of other teenage girls except she has chosen to keep the baby. Did you ever think that Palin is so popular because she connects with everyday people? Whether Bristol marries Levi or not - what does it matter to you? I think what we should acknowledge is that the girl is looking forward to making something of herself. Instead of tearing someone down for being human - you might want to work on yourself and improve your level of sensitivity and compassion.
