It sucks being caught screwing-up your life and having it pointed out by someone who cares for you. Drug abusers go through the same state of anger at their loved ones during intercession. It’s a natural reaction and symptom of the illness. Thank you, Pope Benedict, for having the courage and affection to speak the Truth despite contemporary outcry.
Their arrogance gets in the way of humility and a contrite heart.

What are they gonna do?? Attack the Vatican? That’d be something to watch. I’m still waiting for them to go to South Central LA or Compton to protest the black churches that back Prop 8. But they won’t, they know who they can get away with harassing.
Gays have been on a roll, recently. Their agenda has been jumping ahead in leaps and bounds, at least in the West. It must have come as an unpleasant surprise to discover that unreformed pockets of resistance to the "sodomy is normal" mantra, still remain.
