God bless all scouts. Four of "my" Scouts were serving in Iraq AT THE SAME TIME (1st push to Baghdad), this from a small town Texas troop. 3 Marines, 1 Army Infantry, all combat veterans, several with two or more combat deployments. Later three more served their country, USAF, USCG, two still serving after 10 years. God bless all Scouts. Our town is only 1,800 pop., they stayed with us all the way through high school.
Some of the crap they took being in Scouts but I'm here to tell you, after their deployments all the HS "heroes" were pretty shame-faced. I'll say it again: God bless all Scouts.
