Ok, I'll admit, I'm up late. At 4:00 ABC's World News Now ran their headlines.
First teaser: A flyover view of midtown Manhattan leading into Times Square. Focus on the video board above the US military recruiting station. A heads-up display appears and an explosion takes place over Times Square. Voice over says,"Mideast Attacks; Israel Pounds Gaza Two Days In a Row..." Then the scene shifts to Gaza.
OK, here's the deal. I'm not crazy. It may be sloppy editing. But I have this on an HDTV, along with a DVR that I've been running back and forth looking at this piece to make sure I'm not ...crazy.
The word "subliminal" comes to mind, and it would be easily pulled off with a 480p TV (still the vast majority.)
Right. Now I'm ready for the ridicule ;-)
