Time and Newsweek would already be gone if it wasn’t for Dentist and Doctors offices.
LOL. Tagline material!
No doubt about it!
I think if the airline industry, the doctors and dentists...and half of the high schools in America just stopped their subscriptions...the two would fold up within a year.
I remember ten years ago...a guy I worked with came to his son’s school and actually walked into the school library. He’d never paid attention to the place...it was a small library by most standards. The curious thing was that they had a dozen magazines on display. He picked up one...and it was addressed to the school...not a donated copy. So he asked about this, and the librarian (one and only one) admitted that they alloted X amount of money each year to cover these dozen magazines. So the guy naturally asked...so these kids read Newsweek and Time alot? The librarian smiled and said that she had one kid who read them religiously, and the only other readers were the teachers in the school. Course, they probably got a special discount of fifty percent off but it was amusing that almost no kids read the stuff. Naturally, he asked if these were all of the magazines...and the librarian smiled again...and said that she had the National Geographic down under the desk if the older kids asked for it.
They fell TODAY!
Oh, happy day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Or freebie boards.. they offer them for free every now and again and I won’t even sign up for them.
