Don't be naive. Statistically, young black males commit more violent crime than does any other group in the United States. "Based on data for the years 1976-2005, Blacks are disproportionately represented as both homicide victims and offenders. The victimization rates for blacks were 6 times higher than those for whites. The offending rates for blacks were more than 7 times higher the rates for whites" 1. I'd be happy to post more supporting data if you don't believe me.

Wow! Northridge is closed and boarded up!?! I lived in Milwaukee from 1978 to 1981, then moved to Arizona. Back in the day, Northridge was a nice mall in a good area. Mayfair was nice, too. Is Southridge still there? Lots of high school memories...

It’s not a Marcus theater, it’s an AMC theatre. AMC isn’t from Milwaukee and they don’t give a damn about the community.

Southridge is still in business.

There is a housing project near Northridge on 91st St.

Northridge was a few blocks away so the young toughs would hang out there all day.People got sick of the hassle and crime and now it's closed up.

I went shopping there maybe a year before it closed and it was really intimidating inside.

It’s not just culture, it’s also biology. For one thing, blacks have more testosterone than whites. That’s just a fact. Even the New York Times has admitted that in passing.

Yes, it is fact. I work with two young white woman who live with, support, have children by black men. They also help support the illegitimate children the men have with other women. Both men have cheated on these girls a number of times. One, having found that her mate had cheated with one of her friends, asked me why he and her previous black loves were unfaithful. I told her it was their high testosterone and she should find her an Asian man.

I remember going to Northridge when my son was young(in a stroller). Thankfully, I recognized that the “group” forming in the mall was a mob in the making. I grabbed my little boy and hightailed it out. Now, it is torn down, a Menards(I think), Best Buy and Toys R Us are still there. I really hate going to Brown Deer. It is very obvious I am not welcome.

I agree with you guys - The Warriors was awesome.

Sadly, it’s headed for a remake. Tony Scott (ugh!) is remaking it for release in 2010. This time, it’s going to be set in Los Angeles, not New York. And Scott is using *actual* L.A. gang members for a lot of the parts.

Definitely a skip for me.
