Didn’t see anyone posting this show so opted to jump in. Not all links may work — I wanted to get it posted and didn’t check them.

Also, The first three hours are on WABC and the second three are on KFI.

Thank you, Cedar Dave, for posting this with all of the great details. I've listened to John Batchelor for years. It appears he is covering a lot of good topics tonight.

You’re welcome!! I won’t try to comment on the content. My fingers are tired from all the posting about Richardson. Unfortunately we are once again stuck with him for another two years unless the Feds have the goods on him.

Having said that, some commentator is trashing McCain’s choice of Gov. Palin as the worst move of the year. That’s the only think that kept McCain close.

LOL. One of the panel says he has a very low opinion of Richardson and his abilities. Batchelor responds saying (jokingly) all problems in the country started in NM.

Why am I not surprised Richardson bailed out.

The segment earlier on housing, I wondered where the gal and JB got their info on San Diego. The South Bay area
some problems but S.D. no wheres near other areas.
Homes and especially condos selling here.

I don’t think the market is that bad here in NM.

I tell you though that Richardson coming back to NM is a real bummer and will depress lots of business and industry folks. I already had heard the the replacement Lt. Governor had reached out to try to work with those folks. Now we are going have two years of a snarly, besieged governor who will give no quarter to his opponents. We may soon have our own version of IL gov Blago if the feds (hopefully) have the goods on him.

Richardson may wake up some of the folks there and may not be so quick to vote out some of the GOP Reps

Good report by Malcolm Hoenlein. Children as old as eight years old have never been able to sleep above ground and outside of bunkers.

I was with a group of around 60 or more people, Jewish from Eastern Europe and Israel who live here and were countering the pro Hamas rally today. The Palestinians
were ugly to say the least.

John’s unusual and dramatic bumper music is one of his signature trademarks.

This is true. That last bumper sounded like a Philip Glass piece.
Much of his music is from movies.

John now having fun with Bill Richardson’s withdrawal. The rest of the country doesn’t take him seriously; I wish we wouldn’t (couldn’t) either.

I am listening to John Batchelor right now on 77WABC. I didn;t find a thread for tonight show.

I think John Batchelor is one of the most informed, interesting people on radio. I am curious if you all find him so as well.

I wonder why he is only on radio one night a week. I remember listening to him a while back. I remember he had a show with another guy and they had some kind of falling out.
