Yep, another pre-inauguration scandal! HA!! Life is good! If they don’t kick Barry out for being ineligible, at least it will be and entertaining four years of “I told you so’s”.

Did you see the news coverage over the weekend on the Islamic Center in Oakland that that had red paint splashed on the steps?
I actually passed by it Saturday on my way to an event in Oakland, and noticed all the pressure wash equipment they had brought in. It looked like they had most of the paint removed by that time.

Good morning everyone...back to real life again. Yep the trees (multiple...what is wrong w/me...be kind and don’t respond to that question) are still up.
Will tune in Q and R a little later (ESPN here...) and Pitt is NCAA number one (for the first time) in college hoops and it will snow next Sunday when those San Diego Chargers are playing at the Ketchup Bottle :)
You are correct (as always) P6...the North Side facility was under incredible scrutiny waaaay back during the time frame leading up to the MLB All-Star Game (when it was played at PNC Park). After the fact, if I am recalling correctly, weren’t there stories released about SCUBA divers patrolling the river front and all kinds of extreme security measures?
I think I heard him say that we weren’t going to get Rose until tomorrow.
I'd forgotten about the All Star game. That was when the mosque came under scrutiny and yes scuba divers were used along the river. Of course the moozies got their panties all bunched up about it.
FWIW Wife and I took down ALL of the Christmas decorations yesterday. We want to get back to remodeling.
Then again tomorrow kicks of Carnival leading up to Mardi Gras. That's always a big deal in our house because I like Cajun food so much. We'll have to do a "bit" of decorating.
There's so much to do this time of year...most just to help get through the Bad of the Year. Burns night (weekend this year because it's the 250th aniversary) on January 25th. I wear a kilt, oldest son plays the bagpipes and we have a Haggis - sorta - dinner.
And let's not forget Up Helly Aa... the fire festival in Lerwick Scotland - Shetland the last Tuesday of the month. Dress up like Vikings, burn stuff (in Lerwick they drag a Viking boat through the town then burn it in the harbor)and of course there's lots of drinking, carousing and charity work.
Soon afterward we get into Lent and all the local church fish frys.
As bad as the weather is this time of year, I'm beginning to really look forward to it.
