Britain must set a maximum population level if it is to avoid destroying the environment and putting national security at risk, say experts.
The Optimum Population Trust has written to ministers calling for a policy of 'zero net migration' - matching numbers allowed into Britain each year to numbers leaving.
The UK's population is projected to increase from 60 to 70million over the next 20 years, and to 85million by 2081.
The trust, a panel of academics and environmentalists, says achieving zero net migration would cut Britain's population in 2081 to 57million.
Mass immigration 'feeds through into rising greenhouse gas emissions' and more congestion, the experts say.
The trust warns that because Britain can produce only 30 per cent of the food, energy and other goods that it needs, it will become increasingly vulnerable to 'resource nationalism' as foreign powers hoard their own scarce resources.
'This imperils future national security as well as destroying the environment,' it says.
The trust is demanding a Royal Commission to establish 'an environmentally sustainable level of population'.

Anything to limit muzzie migration into Europe is, on the face of it, a good thing.
But anything based on the threat of global warming is, by definition, infinitely stupid.

Sometimes in history, it’s necessary to make difficult decisions. England should evict it’s Muslim population, period.
Now don’t anyone accuse me of being Hitler, evicting these Muslims to some Muslim country would be reuniting them with their true brethren because they care not a wit for western civilization.
There should also be a 40 year ban on immigration - assimilation takes time. And Indians and the Paki’s and any other non-British foreigners will take a couple of generations to become civilized.
As for the birth rate, traditional brits should be encouraged to have one more. If you’re a young woman with three beautiful children, have one more for Merry Olde England - otherwise it’s over.

When you establish quotas, you have to create an enforcement mechanism. This would lead to forced abortions, euthanasia, and eugenics. Dr. Angel, your phone is ringing.
This will be denounced as racist, and a subsequent panel will find that native Britains will need to have mandatory birth control and abortions forced on them in order to compensate for the influx of immigrants. Anyone who objects will be prosecuted for hate speech and jailed.
