Soldiers say they'd leave military if 'gay' ban lifted

A conservative military watchdog is very concerned about a recent survey of military personnel that indicates a significant number of service members might leave the all-volunteer force if the ban on open homosexuals in the military is lifted.

The annual survey was conducted by the Military Times, which once again asked active duty personnel if they oppose the effort led by Congresswoman Ellen Tauscher (D-California) to repeal the 1993 law -- Section 654, Title 10 -- which clearly states that open homosexuals are not allowed in the military.

Approximately 58 percent of the respondents indicated that they were in favor of continuing the ban. But Elaine Donnelly, president of the Center for Military Readiness, is more astonished at the response to a question that had never been asked on that survey before.

"In essence, what would you do if the law is repealed?" she relates that question. "The Military Times found that 10 percent of respondents said they would leave the military, and an additional 14 percent said they would consider ending their careers," she points out. "Now, even if half of those numbers turned out to be an accurate prediction, that would be devastating to our volunteer force. It would pretty much destroy the military as we know it."

She believes those who might consider leaving have legitimate concerns if the law is repealed. "The new policy would be forced co-habitation with homosexuals 24-7 in all military communities," Donnelly adds. "Corollary programs to make the program work would include professional diversity training to enforce acceptance and zero tolerance of anyone who disagrees."

Donnelly expects Tauscher to reintroduce the repeal legislation within the next several weeks.

“Homicide cops will tell you that one of the hallmarks of a homosexual murder is the level of violence and, frequently, genital mutilation of the victim.””

Not to mention every mass murderer of boys has been a homosexual male. Check the list — it is long and the closet door is open.

“If having to serve with a gay person is enough to make them abandon the defense of their nation, the military is better off without them”.

...with me it would be about the “slippery slope” a move like this makes. Military personnel serve because they love their country. This makes them love it less. Why fight for a Marxist who will only impose further restrictions. This is one of many changes to come to our military.

Well, then, let them wear a scarlet letter to indicate their open gayness and serve as a warning to others to give a wide berth. It would also be like tags applied by rescue triage groups in a major incident. To get treatment for wounds would require special protective gear for those medics attending which could delay immediate attention.

That’s it — let them serve REALLY openly with some sort of designation on their uniforms. Then everyone could get on like Harvard chums and wait to take their showers or sleep with string and cans draped around their area to trigger an alarm or have a designated watcher so others could get some sleep. It could work.

You have NO idea. My best friend on earth, a gentle soul, brilliant, funny and charming (he made life fun and magical), but there were definitely boundaries — DEFINITELY.

Yes indeed. And once they turn the military into just another leftist group of perverts, they will no longer have to worry about disqualifying absentee military ballots, dontcha know. Stealing elections will be much easier for them then.

"At least, that’s what they’ve been telling us in conducting their war on the white heterosexual conservative male."

Correct. That's what they've been telling us. And when is the last time that you knew a leftist to tell the truth?

I wonder how leftists would feel about forcing women to room, shower, etc, in front of people that find them sexually attractive...

If I could secure a large government grant I would be glad to do a study of the situation.

Soldiers in the field, and even the commanders, are not allowed to know the HIV or hepatitis status of the soldiers. And the “gay community” can make any claims it likes- there is little argument against the fact that these diseases are occuring at far higher numbers among homosexuals. When you factor in the numbers among IV drug abusers, it is more than apparent that HIV, in particular is a lifestyle disease and almost 100% preventable.””

“Gays” are the #1 vector for the spread of infectious diseases among humans and a huge public health threat. Here is a partial list of what the deviants spread—Male homosexuals have the highest incidence of HIV/AIDS, syphilis, drug-resistant gonorrhea, entamoeba histolytica, chlamydia, herpes simplex II, Chancroid, Drug Resistant TB, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis non A & B, just to name a few. The press of course never discusses the CDC facts, but if you want to look for yourself the information is in the scientific literature. More than any other segment of society, the homosexuals are costing us billions in medical care. Disgusting behavior is not always healthy behavior. go figure.

We probably don't need to worry about absentee ballots anyhow - they'll probably do away with those pesky "election thingies".

Heck, if I could do the study without getting labeled a “sexist, deviant, womanizer” I would do it for FREE!

Women have their own barracks. Why? They don’t want to be subjected to potential unwanted sexual attention from the men. Want gays in the military? Want to put them in a barracks with other men who don’t want to be subjected to potential unwanted sexual attention? Fine, make it fair all ‘round. Put the men in with the women. One big barracks, communal showers, etc.

I’m afraid at the risk of being totally flamed, I agree.

I have known some manly gays and even manlier lesbians. Some I’ve seen had a few men running from their wrath.

What the Homosexual advocacy groups like SLDN won’t tell you is that almost 100% of the discharges for “homosexuality” were initiated based on requests by the service member. In almost 100% of the cases, these are straight soldiers and sailors that are using this as a tool to get out early.

Almost all of the Navy’s discarges for being “gay” are at the Navy’s Nuclear Power school. When the course gets very demanding, often the students will “come out” in groups asking to be discharged.

Of course, the few that contact the SLDN are provided form letters which claim that they are being harassed and feel threatened. When it is pointed out to these sailors, that such allegations have to be investigated and “False claims” are subject to punishment, they all withdraw the letter and just ask to be discharged.

A Gay military would have no problem rounding up Christians.

They may have no problem with the idea of rounding up Christians, but actually doing it would be another matter. Homos fight like, well, sissies.

I don’t care what they label me but I want to be able to purchase excellent health and life insurance and my own EMTs on 24 hour standby. Islamo-fascists are dangerous. Women are downright deadly!

Well, along with the label will be the lawsuits and all the other crap that goes with it!

But, I agree with you - women are dangerous and can turn on you faster than a short-fused, Islamo-fascist made “party” vest!

In the spirit of Thomas Pynchon’s SchwarzKommandos, select squads of all gendered individual may make for some real motivated soldiers against Jihadis.

And considering the female denizens of say, Northhampton MA, or the male habitues of a bar called the Ramrod Room, somehow I see the jihadis getting totally perplexed before their moment arrives.

Historically, the city of Thebes had a legion comprised of pairs of male lovers who fought, rather succesfully, until Alexander of Macedon defeated them, and absorbed the remnants into his army.
