No one ever mentions the MOST important reason for not having gays in the military (and ‘don’t ask, don’t tell is still dangerous).

Next time you are watching a war movie- “Saving Private Ryan”, “Blackhawk Down”, “Band of Brothers”- pay close attention to the scenes where the soldiers are up to their elbows in a wounded soldier’s blood. THAT is reality. I defy anyone to volunteer to expose themselves to the blood of a gay man. This is hate speech? So be it. It is time to face facts.

Soldiers in the field, and even the commanders, are not allowed to know the HIV or hepatitis status of the soldiers. And the “gay community” can make any claims it likes- there is little argument against the fact that these diseases are occuring at far higher numbers among homosexuals. When you factor in the numbers among IV drug abusers, it is more than apparent that HIV, in particular is a lifestyle disease and almost 100% preventable.

Now does anyone think it fair that we demand that our soldiers, our heroes and protectors, be exposed to a disease that THEY have chosen to avoid?

In WWII, my father was a medic and he had soldier’s blood in his mouth and in his own small wounds for days at a time. This is a no go.

You’ve articulated the single best argument against homosexuals in the military.

The danger of exposure to contaminated blood far out weights any other consideration.

That’s my only concern — I can’t see any other reason. In college, I had a lesbian across the hall who apparently was attracted to me. I guess it’s just the way I was raised (my father could freeze water in July with his looks and words across miles of telephone wires at that), but I handled it so it was NEVER a problem again.

If you’re gay — whatever, but don’t expect me to go along with it. Most of the guys I know would make short work of a pass made at them, and who gives a rat’s a$$ what gays do with each other or think about — not me. I wouldn’t want to be in the same room with a heterosexual couple going at it either — for me, sex is not a spectator sport.

“Gays” are the #1 vector for the spread of infectious diseases among humans and a huge public health threat. Here is a partial list of what the deviants spread—Male homosexuals have the highest incidence of HIV/AIDS, syphilis, drug-resistant gonorrhea, entamoeba histolytica, chlamydia, herpes simplex II, Chancroid, Drug Resistant TB, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis non A & B, just to name a few. The press of course never discusses the CDC facts, but if you want to look for yourself the information is in the scientific literature. More than any other segment of society, the homosexuals are costing us billions in medical care. Disgusting behavior is not always healthy behavior. go figure.
