WASHINGTON – The upcoming inauguration of Barack Obama is an attractive target for international and domestic terrorists, but U.S. intelligence officials have no information about specific threats to the Jan. 20 event.
An internal intelligence assessment, obtained by The Associated Press on Wednesday, says the high visibility of the event, the presence of dignitaries and the significance of swearing in the country's first black president make the inauguration vulnerable to attacks.

Oh.. our son in law is going to be on the NBC Nightly News tomorrow night..guess it is an interview about Inaug Day security. He is with the USCG so he will discuss water ways. Don’t know who else will be on with him but much as we detest MSM we will take a peek tomorrow. Then back to FOX for at least a more balanced sort of news.

I never want to see another terrorist attack on Amercan soil, however the irony of this would be hard to miss.
I have to work that day. Darn. I won’t see anything about it as it is college basketball season and there is football to think about and hockey is still in play and NASCAR will kick off in a few weeks and “Lost” and “24” are getting ready to heat up.
Think of 200,000 people on the National Mall and a people bomb.
