Interview, Orly Taitz: Chief Justice Roberts Calls Conference on Obama Challenge: Lightfoot v. Bowen
Fort Hard Knox ^ | January 7, 2009 | Arlen Williams

Posted on 01/09/2009 8:28:39 PM PST by devere

Chief Justice John Roberts has sent a full-throated challenge of Barack Obama’s presidential eligibility to conference: Lightfoot v. Bowen (SCOTUS docket page). I.O. interviewed Lightfoot lead attorney, Orly Taitz at 2:20pm CT, today, minutes after she learned of this move.

Taitz believes, “This is Chief Justice Roberts telling the Congress… the other eight Justices, that there is a problem with this election.”

The Lightfoot case has legal standing, due to litigant, Libertarian Gail Lightfoot’s vice presidential candidacy in California. It also address two major issues of legal merit: 1. Obama’s failure to provide legally evidentiary documentation of citizenship and American birth and, 2. his United Kingdom citizenship at birth, passed to him by his Kenyan father when that nation was a British colony. (Other current challenges also submit that Obama’s apparent status as an Indonesian citizen, as a child, would have caused his American citizenship to be revoked.) This case is therefore considered the strongest yet, to be heard by the Supreme Court. Obama challenger, Philp Berg had previously been granted conference hearings, scheduled this Friday, 1/9 and on 1/16.

Roberts was submitted this case on 12/29, originally a petition for an injunction against the State of California’s Electoral College vote. His action comes one day before the Congress is to certify the Electoral College votes electing Barack Obama, 1/8. The conference called by Roberts is scheduled for 1/23. Orly Taitz is not deterred by the conference coming after the inauguration, which is to be held 1/20, “If they find out that he was not eligible, then they can actually rescind the election; the whole inauguration and certification were not valid.” The strongest time for legal and judicial rulings are generally after the fact.

On a side note, I can barely recall a time that the Republican “loyal opposition” in Congress has been so quiet. Cheney dissolved the EC vote count very quickly on Jan. 8, and IMO, looked like the bird that ate the canary.... very odd...

It sure sounds like the fix is in. I've listened to the shock jocks say that the two-party system is dead, and the way things have been going, THAT's my greatest fear, because it means we'll be having elections like they had in Gaza.

Have you been following Howard Dean lately ....He resigned shortly after being named in the Berg lawsuit and is having NOTHING to do with the DNC.

Fox commentator asked what’s going on when the new DNC chair was install. He was absent...
Other said that he had been quoted as saying he purposely missed the ceramony....was half way around the world. First commented “What happened? What did he do wrong?”

(Maybe it wasn’t him, it was the DNC...)

A president Biden, knowing his way around the House and Senate would be much more effective at passing Liberal Legislation than Obama.

The last thing you want is a President Biden.

No.

The last thing I want is a vice-president Hillary!™...

I have been having the same thought. The economy and country really got screwed up (more) in 2006 with Pelosi and Reid taking over Congress.

Thanks to their pals in the news media, they demonized the GOP & Bush, Soros and buddies wipe out the mkt in oct also due to clueless RINO Chris Cox at the SEC then the Dems romp in the election.

Howard Dean is the head of the party, has this great success and then he TOTALLY disappears? It is mind boggling. This is why I mentioned that if Obama gets bounced - there should be a citizens class action lawsuit against Obama aka Barry Soetero aka Barry Dunham, the DNC and Howard Dean (personally).

Dean ran away after the election like the building was on fire. He is a creepy little ego maniac who would have been gloating based on his past behavior. Not this time - it is like he went into the witness or is that witless protection program. It makes NO sense at all. ????

FYI

Scotus only read their mail. They do not accept emails and faxes.

I sent my letters to all 9 of the Justices, in separate envelopes put into a manila envelope. Send it to US Supreme Court.

Which will be a nice addition to his felony document fraud.

Good point. Would that be a federal felony or a Hawaii state felony?

In 1981 the US sold 40 F-16’s to Pakistan.
Not all that sure that Reagan would have sold F-16’s to a nation that he had imposed a travel ban upon.

I do not see that as a disqualifier or qualifier for travel into any country.

Countries that have bought F-16s

“No way. If Obama gets bounced - the Dow will probably rally 1000 points.”

After he gets bounced it will rally 4000 points.
While the case is in progress it will fall 4000 points. The markets dislike uncertainty.

Obama would rather resign than have to produce his birth certificate, so when it comes down to Show & Tell time, Bambi is going to make a wonderful exit speech, and “there won’t be a dry eye in the house.”

Let's make a little list of felonious fraud charges that could be brought against O, Ron.

Hmmm...actually it ain't that little and encompasses organizations from Illinois to Hawaii, unwitting accomplices far and wide, the DNC and their state boards.

RICO violations and mail fraud, FEC violations, forgery and obstruction of justice to name a few.

OK:

Vice President-elect Joseph Biden will officially step down from his Delaware Senate seat on Jan. 15 (in Jan 9, ROLL CALL)... one day before Berg’s next SCOTUS Conference

No mention of Hillary...

Richards has jumped ship for “scandal reasons” ... atypical for a guy like him to be concerned with such trivial matters ...

And Emanuel has resigned his House seat on Jan. 2, but my bet is that it’s more tied to the Blago scandal than anything else...

Yeah, it’ll be an interesting 9 days...

My job requires me to back up facts.

All that I am am asking you to do is the same.

Show me a Law or regulation or requirement that US travel is allowed or restricted.
