I wasn't crazy about President Bush 41, but he was one heck of an Navel Aviator, and certainly deserves this honor. I actually object to the abuse of the exception carved out for President Reagan who, although still alive, had given an entirely new meaning to the term "political suicide" with his farewell letter announcing his Alzheimer's Disease diagnosis. Now we are to take it as routine that a son names a capital ship after his yet-living father. It really isn't cricket, you know . . .
