I asked Jim Jordan why the President wasn’t fighting the “New Direction” of the 2006 election of the Dems, and he asked me “With what?”.
The ‘Progressives’ have convinced the electorate that all the answers come from government (even though they have created the crisis) and that promoting individual liberty and economic freedom which is an ‘ownership society’ is actually an ‘on your own society’. This is the tipping point where the left has now gained control.
My message to the ‘progressives’ is:
You broke it, you bought it.
All those emails you send to me about “We’re in this together.” are a joke. I will not assist you in destroying our economic constitution. The ‘Takers’ will have to learn to be ‘Makers’ themselves.

If the American system goes down the drain, it is an intentional plummet from those within the government who want a Socialist system of change.
I have my suspicions about the 2008 economic turns. Soros has been known to bust economies before. Too many connected Democrats involved in the Fannie Mae thing. The way America was sold on nationalizing industries was through “economic disaster”.
I don’t see “socialism” as the means to “recovering” from “disaster”. I see a manufactured state of affairs as an excuse to force us into these “solutions”. Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

I was wondering what PTB meant... thanks for clearing it up. Now I know it is all the fault of Ptahhotep’s Team Balancer.
My reason...Jan.20th and what travesty will occur that day. That’s the reason for my somber underlying mood since Nov.4th. Oh sure, life goes on, we can laugh and do what we do, but underneath, there is that constant sadness that a usurper is going to take the White House without a shot being fired. All those in power who are charged with the duty of making sure Zero is a natural born citizen, just ignore the obvious, since they are afraid of what could be the truth. They don’t want to know the truth, either way, natural or not, Zero is in like Flynn. Until I see proof, he is a usurper and not a president.
The global debt bubble started long before 2008. 2008 is just when it started to run down the hill. I am sure you are right about the socialists wanting control & change—that’s why they encouraged everyone to leverage up and buy a house with notes they didn’t understand, rollover debt from old cars into new cars, go 100s of 1000s in student loan debt, and general credit card debt.
Perhaps you have seen this - but if you haven’t it will give you confidence that you are dead right about “an excuse to force us into these ‘solutions’”!
My comment when I mailed this out to friends before the election was that “I’m not usually into conspiracy theories, but this one fits the facts tighter than OJ’s glove”!

Agreed and the socialist democrats have crossed the line into the dark side and become amoral full fledged communists and the foolish Americans who work and pay taxes are the stupids who elected them, with help from the liberal lite aimless republican party.

Agreed. There has been a steady drumbeat for 8 years from the media, elites, and celebrities that things are terrible. It was repeated so many times, people actually began to believe it. Soros, the Democratic party leadership, our enemies all over the world, educators, greedy lenders, and wealthy leftists have all worked very hard in every way they can to bring us to this stage. They’ve been setting this stage and softening the American mind for ages.
Remember that Obama met with Hollywood behind closed doors during his campaign. I’m sure he told them to keep their mouths shut or the American people would wise up. The media never even bothered to dig to find out what Senator Obama told his movie star audience. Our media took the lead and everyone else worked behind the scenes. Even Striesand managed to keep her mouth shut for the most part.
Still, as a party we were asleep. We let our primary be manipulated. We ran another old, white guy who was so determined to be nice he couldn’t bring himself to point out what was wrong with his adversary. We let the media control our message and our candidates the entire time. We let our party and our voters be manipulated. If we don’t wise up, man up, and get fired up, this country will be lost.

We have no party. We chased our leader off. With no leader we ended up with McCain.
