I think she looks like a fun person, if you can get past all that eco save-the-earth BS. Her stuff, even from her own description, isn’t really wearable - one of her dresses she said could double “as a sweat lodge.” I can’t imagine a better use for Obama stickers etc. than the trash bin!
That said, I sure wouldn’t want to live anywhere near her. Can you imagine what her garage looks/smells like?

I wonder what the carbon footprint is of someone who spends a month making a dress?
I’d bet it is MORE harmful to the climate than it is helpful. But hey, she did save 1 square centimeter of space in a landfill somewhere.

Her designs are very creative, although more art than apparel. Kitschy and fun, clever and resourceful, but certainly not doable on a large scale. In the time it took to make just one outfit, she could have sheared a sheep, carded the wool, spun the thread and woven the fabric to make it out of durable, wrinkle-proof, fireproof wool. Instead, the person who buys her weird nail or glass or sharp aluminum-scaled garment will find that it falls apart after one wearing. Even worse, no one wants to hug them.

"Even worse, no one wants to hug them."That's why the ground glass outfit works so well.
