Military Planners, in Nod to Obama, Are Preparing for a Faster Iraq Withdrawal

WASHINGTON — Military commanders are drawing up plans for a faster withdrawal of American troops from Iraq in anticipation that President-elect Barack Obama will reject current proposals as too slow, Pentagon and military officials said Wednesday.

The new plans would provide alternatives to a timetable drawn up by the top American commanders for Iraq to bring troops home more slowly than Mr. Obama promised during his presidential campaign. Those plans were described to Mr. Obama last month.

The officials said that Mr. Obama had not requested the new plans, but that they were being prepared in response to public statements from the president-elect and on the basis of conversations between military officials and members of Mr. Obama’s transition team.

In honor of the Communist, B. Hussein Obama, becoming our President, I've stopped practicing this transcription from Vladimir Horowitz.

I don't see why there should be any patriotic songs with a hard core Marxist in power.

Maybe I can sing "The Internationale" at some parties instead of the "Star Spangled Banner." :-|

Why should his politics affect military planning.

I don’t think so. He may get early credit, but his administration is going to be a total train wreck.

The Muzzies will sense he is weak and test him immediately.

The Ruskies already an smell fear from him. Putin might accept him as another anti-Capitalist, but he knows Obozo is weak.

He has never accomplished a single thing in his life except academics and “community organizing” (Communist organizer)

He has never run a business, made a payroll, or built anything. All he knows how to do is tell people who really do things that they need to do them his way, because he is the chosen one.

BULL!!!!!

So you are giving up that easily? Say it isn't so!

If anything, I think we should sing louder!

Personally, I think I could beat him up, and I’m 105 lbs. of 62-year-old female. And I wouldn’t have to even touch him to do it.

Less a nod than a bow to the inevitable. America voted to surrender the field. After 18 years in service I am beginning to see history repeating. Higher deployment rates for silly reasons while the real threats are ignored

I fear you are right. QUESTION: What would the revolutionary generation have done if they were in our shoes? I think we need to start thinking of a viable underground right now, before it’s too late. We need a leader; we are too fragmented.

When I think about my 6th Grandfather serving at Valley Forge I usually think few today would have the courage to ride out that hell if they cannot take a bloody nose to liberate 50 million people from the most repressive regimes modern times have to offer.
Of course the British Empire would look a lot more different today too.
It’s nice to have our leaders speaking to the troops on the radio every day, but I think it is time for them to get out from behind the microphone and lead from the front. We have the leaders, but they will not lead.

I got that transcription via e mail from a fellow named Louis Gann in Malaysia. He wished me luck with it. I found it so difficult that I had to memorize it because there are so many notes (Horowitz first played in 1949 at an I am an American concert).

People don't want to learn that one because of its difficulty (though I hear Emmanuel Axe, the first winner of the Arthur Rubenstein prize played it).

With America electing a Communist, I ask myself why should I go through the trouble of keeping that difficult piece up? Let the idiots who voted for B. Hussein Obama listen to "The Internationale" or the Soviet National anthem ( Glen Beck did a howler of a parody on the Soviet Anthem and Obama ). Those songs are more in keeping with what is soon to be Amerika.

Dear Iraq,

Here is your future, courtesy of Barack Hussein Obama, and the Democrat Party of the USA.

Get out while you can.
