Is this some sort of Vacation spot that everyone wants to go to? I’m sure as hell not going there during this “Global Warming” period.

Not surprising, Lieberman is and always has been on McCain’s side, neither of them knew what they were getting into with Sarah.

ANWR is something Sarah is very very passionate about. She won’t roll over and play dead in regards to this issue. I am not surprised by Lieberman’s actions either. He is a a total ass. Supposedly McCain really wanted Lieberman to be his VP Candidate, good, because those two deserve each other.

In a statement, the Connecticut Senator described ANWR as “…a pristine natural treasure that must be preserved for future generations.”

Here's a question, Senator - Have ya ever BEEN there? Alaska's a nice state, but it has thousands of square miles of thousands of square miles.

Pretend you buy your own gas, not us. You may not care about the price of gas, but those of us who work and pay taxes which (you may not be aware of this) pay your salary, your perks and bennies can't afford the same things you can. We can't just increase taxes when our wallets get a little thin, we have to give up things when gas goes above $3.00/gal.

Tell ya what, Joe, next time gas tops $3.00/gal, I'm willing to sacrifice just for you - I'll sacrifice paying my taxes if you'll start buying your own gas and try to live on what the average American lives on.

Then tell me about preserving Alaska's "pristine" wilderness. After we drill and extract EVERY drop of oil we can get from there, you can preserve this "pristine" wilderness for the caribou all you like. But today, we need to drill HERE and drill NOW!!!

Now would be a good time for Lieberman to take the family on a little week-long camping trip to the beautiful and pristine ANWR. It’s a cold wasteland that wouldn’t even feel the impact of the dot of drilling in that vast landscape.

Actually, now would be a good time for Lieberman to do a little polar bear hunting with Sarah at ANWR.

Sarah is being stabbed in the back from all different directions. Just think—Joe came this close to being McCain’s running mate. When I said previously that the selection of Sarah for VP was a miracle, I echo that sentiment again. How she ever got considered with her credentials as a Reagan conservative and her antipathy towards the views of McCain and Lieberman is astounding! Perhaps, the truth is that McCain only saw Sarah a young pretty face who the base would gravitate towards and help him increase his donations and volunteers for the campaign. Perhaps it is as simple as that.

I will bet $50.00 that Joey has NEVER PUMPED his own gas!! He doesn’t have a CLUE about energy. I’ll take it from the girl in this case....EVERY TIME!!

A new home costs about $300K, ask any Realtor

A new pickup costs about $30K, ask any dealer

How much does a Senator cost? Ask the Greenies what it cost for Lieberman and 23 other U.S. senators - you might be surprised for how cheaply they go for these days....

Every barrel of oil that comes from overseas is money out the door supporting a system that wants you and your children - DEAD.

I’d take Palin’s side on this issue over that of Lieberman, McCain etc. Wasn’t Lieberman a failed VP candidate?

I hope Governor Palin (and Senator Murkowski and Begich) take to the air waves and tells Lieberman how wrong he is. And get the American people engaged. I think the people who live in Alaska would know more than this senator from Connecticut..

She sure as hell knows more about ANWR than smokin' Joe could ever fathom.

You would think Lieberman would take her consult to heart, but in Washington he's trying to fit in with the crowd.

What will this do to help the economy? While Rome is burning the Senate plays politics. Stopping drilling is the top of their list?

Sure, Stevens got half a house. Those State guys were so cheap that most people could afford a Representative or two.
