Ban and most of the UN are full-blown idiots. They will hold Israel accountable for the “occupation” of Gaza when not a single Israeli has 1 foot in the territory, but demand that not a single troop step foot in Gaza.
Israel has all the responsibilities but none of the rights of a “occupying force” according to these people. Its one of the worst double standards in world affairs.
“Why? Israel accomplished nothing. Hamas still exists and will be lobbing bombs over continuously.”
They killed top Hamas leadership. They destroyed the bomb making facilities. They destroyed the tunnels. They now hold key strategic points. They gathersed intelligence, which is their lifeblood.
You know you cannot kill every Hamas supporter and Terrorist without leveling the joint. And that was never going to happen
Unilateral ceasefire = Unilateral SURRENDER = a sign of weakness, at least to the Muzzie mind.
The Obama Administration will make the UN look like a well run organization.

In a related story, the UN votes to allow now more than ten rocket attacks on Israel per day as an expression of political opinion and bans all retaliation from Israel as being not proportional, since the Jews have probably done something to warrant this treatment, according to AP...

YES, Sadly, it is all too clear what the “UN response” will be to further rocket attacks from Hamastan......
UN officials say 20 rocket attacks per day will cause them to express “concern”.....
30 rocket attacks per day will cause Secy. Ban to express “serious concern” for the “peace process”
More than 40 rocket attacks per day will lead to the UN declaring that “aid” shipments to Hamastan must be dramatically increased b/c clearly it is “poverty” that forces Hamas to launch rockets.....
50 or more rocket attacks per day will lead to the UN sending all of its top leadership to grovel before Hamastan.
Yup, it’s easy to predict what UN responses will look like.
I too expected that before now Israel would have attacked Iran while it had half a chance of getting U.S. support.
