WASHINGTON (AP) Barack Obama's cherished Blackberry slipped through his fingers Friday but it was only a butterfingers moment.
Obama, who has been reluctant to relinquish the device when he becomes president, dropped his Blackberry and its hard plastic case onto an airport tarmac as he emerged from his fortified vehicle.
A Secret Service agent hustled to pick it up.

This is news? Way to go, AP.
I was thinking the same.
WOW! ...and then what happened?
that is funny.
this is how pathetic the media have become with obama the phony.
Reporting stories of their messiah dropping his phone.
OMG quick attention the world the messiah has dropped his phone but the secret service ran in and saved the day.
We can all breath a sigh of relief
ARF
8:19 PM, the Blackberry becomes self-aware.
His Majesty just stood there and let someone else pick it up? Unbelievable.
It’s not as if he was about to pick up his own crackberry.
Looks like the secret service will be treated with the same respect they got from the bubbas.
Yep -- and not a word about this flying around half the country to catch a train to go north and then south. FOX is the worst of the lot today.
Maybe I am old fashion and JMO but when I see anybody constantly on their blackberry/cell txt ect it really turns me off.
I suppose because I prefer to look/observe the world around me.
It (again JMO) makes the user appear to be a self absorbed individual.
When in public it is nice to give or recieve a smile and eye contact from/to people.
We all have low days and that simple smile can really make for a spiritual uplift whatever we are sufferring through at the moment.
really
I have not watched much of Fox or any news since the election, it is just plain annoying to watch them.
I think americans confused the office of President with American Idol. Its a shame,it really is.
P.S. I don't know if I could keep this up for 8 years like the Left did with GWB.
I am in agreement with you 100%
the population today have forgot how to have a conversation, how to say thank you, how to say please and hello.
When I lived up north for a bit I had to get the subway/T underground train etc and I swear seeing these people on their phones all the time just amazed me.
I would see funny things like a guy and a gal walking together while both texting.
It’s just plain silly .
A guy next door to me moved in recently, he walks his dog with his 12 year old and every time the father is just on his phone.
I mean what is that about, your child is there walking with you and you would rather be on the phone doing what ever.
Even his child has said he is on the phone all the time so he can’t talk to his father much.
If IO get on a train then I like to see the world, etc.
When we go to east TN the mountains we never take out phones at all, we enjoy the beauty of east TN and be a family
It’s not fair. I drop mine all the time and I have yet to have a Secret Service agent help me. BTW, can I get Barry’s PIN so I can do Crackberry Instant Messaging wiff him? Does Barry have a Blue Toof for it, too?
pathetic.
An interesting image...
bttt
This is what, the 10th major news story about Black Barry and his Blackberry since the election?
BREAKING NEWS FROM THE PRESS CAR:
7:55 p.m.: Obama takes a dump.
(No word yet on who was chosen from the gathered throng of reporters begging to wipe his ass for him.)
The next time Obama drops the damn thing will someone please step on it and crush it? Sorry, OOPS!
How right you are!
I noticed that in my neighborhood the other evening . There was a man walking a beautiful golden retriever, and instead of talking to his dog, he was on the phone. The streets were icy, and he could have tripped and killed himself and the dog. These Yuppies walk around in total oblivion.
I am seen couples dining in a restaurant, not a McDonalds either, but a real non chain restaurant. Each one was on the phone at the same time they were having dinner with each other.
Pathetic.
Obama’s wife, “Aunt Esther”, should smack him up the side of the head!
Black Barry. Okay...
Great. He probably plans on storing top secret information and the nuclear missle launch codes on it and will end up losing it when he visits his buddy Adminejad in Iran.Of course he’d only be upset about losing the Blackberry and not the confidental imformation he illegally has downloaded on it.
With a blackberry on his person, his exact location can be pinpointed at any given time...ergo, a sitting target. He should NOT, therefore, be allowed to keep it - ummm, on second thought.
But seriously, he's panicked about being surrounded by the bubble of people - cabinet - and unable to reach or be reached directly by his peebs.
One could wonder why? Is the main puppet-master, who correagates his every move, gives him his words, not one of the inside bubble?
Will he be rendered speechless without his 'feed'?
Is he really off of altering substances or does he need 'contact'?
He is going to the POTUS. His wants are now secondary the the security of the POTUS. He should not be allowed to use this breach of secruity.
LOL
that is funny as I have seen the same thing and yes it is these yuppies.
We got gift certificates for the cheesecake factory(expensive place I found) anyway we went to a restaurant and a couple were both on their phones completely ignoring each other.
It was so pathetic I had to laugh, my wife asked what I was laughing at and I pointed it out.
we now find it amusing when you see two or three people together on their phones doing whatever while totally ignoring their friends , spouse around them.,
Don't know; I don't read the MSM much (except as I see it here or in the WSJ). But I found the comment about "fortified vehicle" interesting...
Obama better wise up fast, he's going to be POTUS and the security of the nation is in his greasy hands. he better take giving up his blackberry seriously before it is hacked and used as a blackmailing weapon
I noticed that also and thought it spoke volumes about him as a person. He didn’t even act as though he was going to pick it up - he just stood there waiting for the Secret Service agent to get it for him. Say what you will about George Bush, but he would have bent over and picked it up himself.
AP....Dateline Washington,D.C.
URGENT BREAKING NEWS.....Barack Hussein Obama has produced a perfect poopy! Oh! Oh! We love you Barack!
The SS needs to do a much better job of protecting that Blackberry. Without it, booty calls & white powder will be virtually impossible for BaRock.
Oh noze! Don’t break your Blackberry, Barry. How will you IM your legions?
I have a co-worker that got upset cause I stopped going to lunch with him.
All he did for the 30 minutes was text message someone on his phone EVERY SINGLE DAY. He would barely acknowledge me.
I told him that it was boring just watching him text every freaking day. It was more fun eating BY MYSELF.
I loved Cheesecake Factory when I went there for lunch in Baltimore. Unfortunately,or fortunately, here in NYC we don’t have many chain restaurants.
Most restaurants are still Mom and Pop operations. Hundreds of Greek Coffee Shops/Luncheonettes, Chinese restaurants, and small restaurants owned and run by individual proprietors/chefs.
Do you not like the fmaily owned restaurants?
my view
I hated cheesecake and other big chain restaurants. much prefer the family owned restaurants.
Except cracker barrel which I like, decent price, and decent homestyle food
I found in the cheesecake a certain amount of people who were elitist yuppies.
IMHO the food was terrible, the food was so out of price, way over priced actually , the whole atmosphere just didn’t sit well with me.
many of the people wearing designer clothes and it seemed they wanted to make a statement of look at me etc.
Of course I have only ever been to one so maybe others are much different like the one you went to and doesn’t have a yuppie clientele but for me I’ll take the family owned places anytime.
I got the chicken which was very thin and swimming in some horrible sauce, I could taste that sauce for hours but couldn’t taste the chicken of which I had ordered.
I think I’ll never go to another one again.
Cracker barrel 7$ and much nicer food along with the surroundings of the place
Have you ever been to Boston?
If you have or might then the north end is the best place I have ever eaten, just restaurant after restaurant of family owned Italians
the last post I wrote to you was meant of no disrespect to you, just wanted to clear that up.
I’m more of a dunkin man then Starbucks
cracker barrel than cheesecake
etc
etc
etc
I probably just had a bad visit to the cheesecake and yes the place I went to was a place known for many elitist yuppies to visit and do their shopping

I prefer family or chef owned and operated restaurants.
I have never really been to the Chain restaurants like Olive Garden, Red Lobster etc, because here in NY they are very few and far between.
There are literally thousands of restaurants in NYC of every kind, every price range and type of cuisine. We have many local small Italian resyaurants where the food is excellent, and actually cheaper than chains such as Olive Garden.
I love the idea of really good food , family owned and operated restaurants, at reasonablw prices.
I did enjoy my lunch at Cheescake Factory in Baltimore. Perhaps it was the great location with a view of the Inner Harbor that made it memorable. I don’t really remember what I ate. Baltimore is a surprising spot for good restaurants, anything and everything with Crab, which is local, plentiful, and cheap.
We also have Italian restaurants like Mario Batali’s Babbo, which is outstanding, really superb, and in the middle price range. His other restaurant, Del Posto is booked up three months in advance and is around $150 + per person.
I’m down south but really love the north end , I have been to NY city and to China town but did not enjoy china town what so ever.
My wife worked for two weeks at red lobster and quit.
She told me stories of how the veggies are all frozen and they are cooked up in microwaves.
I worked as a truck driver and went to many restaurants and I have never eaten Chinese since.
Every place was horrible behind the scenes.
I have seen a man in the back making crab rangoons while picking his nose.
Preparing the meat while smoking and the ash went into the food.
Getting their for the delivery at 11 am and seeing a rat jump from a duck hanging up in the basement which had been there all night.
I could tell so many stories about china town and they are horrible.
went to olive garden in CT when I was up there and I actually liked it and yet I went to the one near me and I did not like it.
I suppose it’s where you are and who the place is operated by along with who the cook and server is.
I remember I went to a outback, OMG I loved the steak and yet I went back a few months later under a different cook and the steak was all fatty.
I guess it all depends on where you go and what time you go.
Good to hear you had a good time and I will give the place another go at another place
