An Ohio school district may be violating the constitutional rights of its students.

Mason, Ohio, school officials sent an email to parents in advance of the presidential inauguration saying, "Inappropriate comments that may make other students, staff or families feel unwelcome or uncomfortable in school or on the bus will not be tolerated." The story by DaytonDailyNews.com featured examples of negative comments and actions made about the Obama administration after he was elected.

The school's superintendent Kevin Bright added that even in a competitive election process, "our nation's greatness is displayed when all sides come together for a united country." However, Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel believes there is more behind the correspondence.

“our nation’s greatness is displayed when all sides come together for a united country.”

not when it is as a result of force and repression.

All this talk of unity and coming together scares me. I can just imagine an Obamabot being outraged at that, but here’s why: if unity and coming together means that somebody has to censor themselves or restrict their freedom, then it isn’t worth it.

“All this talk of unity and coming together scares me.”

OPINION:

Thanks for your feedback LifeComesFirst.

It’s too late to be scared.
He’s the President now.

The time to be scared was when he was
running for President and he told us
exactly what he would do if he was
President.

So can I assume letters like this went home on a regular basis in response to Bush bashing, lest any conservative kids feel “unwelcome” on the bus. Crickets......

Wonder what their policy was on “divisive” remarks about President Bush? Did they exert pressure for “unity” on his behalf?

I wish I were at home so I could wear anti Obama shirts. We are only allowed to wear our uniforms here.

I feel so sad and depressed. I wish we could wake from this nightmare.

I fell bad for parents without the means to put their kids into a decent private school, their children subjected to the likes of the petty dictator Bright and his inept band of leftist pervert and weirdo "teachers".

Demented imbeciles like Bright need to be taught a lesson.

Not only will decent real Americans not unite behind POTUS MUZZIE HUSSEIN, they will actively work to defeat socialism and socialists by any means necessary.

You betcha.

The MSM “journalists” are beating their chests about helping this president succeed.

He wants to confiscate my earnings and erode my freedoms.

Why would I help him succeed?

Resist. Resist. Resist.

See if you can get them into a Christian or religious school, they have programs to help with tuition if that is an issue.

I wish I were at home so I could wear anti Obama shirts.

You think so? I remember the opposite when the KKKlintons came into office. A few months after he came into office, it was bad enough that the gate guards were ordered to inspect vehicles coming onto base (Robins AFB GA) to ensure that there were no anti-Clinton bumper stickers on the vehicles (vehicles with those kind of bumper stickers would be denied entry).

I also remember a batch of letters of reprimand and even a couple of Article 15s for disrespectful speech: Article 88 for officers and Article 92 for enlisted (there was an AF Reg that was violated in that case). No joke.

In other words, watch your mouth, watch your e-mail (particularly AKO/AFKO/NKO), etc. Hunker down and let somebody else set the precedent.

Signed, an old retired fart.

The kool-aid drinkers are lined up around the block, 5 abreast with kids in tow waiting to kiss the ring of Obamamessiah unknowingly soon-to-be paupers of a broke 3 world marxist banana republic.

"Here's your change (sign)."

Take your children out of these public indoctrination camps called public schools. They are an insult to everything America stands for.
