This sounds a bit more sinister in its possible mandatory nature and expansion across age groups.

I think this is WONDERFUL! All the Obambi lovers/voters/worshippers should flock to serve their country - suit up, fire up, and load up. I for one will be happy to let them finally “make a difference” for their Obambi country - I’ll certainly step out of the way.
That had to be one of the best scenes in the entire Sopranos series, maybe one of the best ever in television. :)
I do lots of volunteer work and I may stop now. It has always been difficult to get people to step forward and do things, now...
With the congress mandating it for so many I guess I can retire.

Hmm, I’ve never found a shortage of things to volunteer my time to. Foster-parent, child advocate, humane society, meals on wheels, room parent, PTA, church, youth coach, big-brother program, United Way drives, shelter food prep, Junior Achievement, etc. I’ll greatly cut back if it is an Obama program.
I’ve served in two communist countries, and a third with a strong open Marcist movement.
I wish that I had more time and better writing skills. I am so very aware of the language the Obama administration is using and can readily identify the tactics.
The segment of the American population who voted for Obama, however, apparently is not ready or willing to put two and two together.
