How much trash was left after the March for Life?

A lot, actually.

Almost all of it was either bagged and stacked next to the permanent (but full) trash cans or thrown into temporary "cages" labeled "PLEASE DEPOSIT TRASH HERE".

I remember in NYC after the Bicentennial celebration there was some attention paid to the number of tons of garbage picked up in Lower Manhattan afterward. Supposedly there were close to 11 million people in the area that day. But, I think Obama’s 1 million slobs may have topped it in trash tonnage.
