When Barack Hussein Obama places his hand on the Bible today to take the oath of office as 44th president of the United States, Barbara Nelson of Kenmore will undoubtedly think back to the day he was born. It was Aug. 4, 1961, at Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women & Children in Honolulu.
“I may be the only person left who specifically remembers his birth. His parents are gone, his grandmother is gone, the obstetrician who delivered him is gone,” said Nelson, referring to Dr. Rodney T. West, who died in February at the age of 98. Here’s the story: Nelson was having dinner at the Outrigger Canoe Club on Waikiki Beach with Dr. West, the father of her college friend, Jo-Anne. Making conversation, Nelson turned to Dr. West and said: “‘So, tell me something interesting that happened this week,’” she recalls.
His response: “Well, today, Stanley had a baby. Now that’s something to write home about.”
The new mother was Stanley (later referred to by her middle name of Ann) Dunham, and the baby was Barack Hussein Obama.
“I penned the name on a napkin, and I did write home about it,” said Nelson, knowing that her father, Stanley A. Czurles, director of the Art Education Department at Buffalo State College, would be interested in the “Stanley” connection.
She also remembers Dr. West mentioning that the baby’s father was the first black student at the University of Hawaii and how taken he was by the baby’s name.
“I remember Dr. West saying ‘Barack Hussein Obama, now that’s a musical name,’” said Nelson, who grew up in Kenmore and went to Hawaii in 1959 to be in Jo-Anne’s wedding party. When Nelson was offered a job as a newspaper reporter and photographer......

The article said she referred to Dr. West as having delivered Obama in 1961 although other news/postings say he retired in 1956.
The article also seems to imply that she remembered the exact date of his birth.
Either the author of this piece is filling in or stretching facts and details or Ms. Nelson is truth-impaired.

And look at that story again. They allege that there's no record of Stanley Anne Dunham anywhere, anytime. And yet we know that she died there. In a hospital. Or do you deny that, as well?
By the way, what ever happened to the video that they were supposed to release documenting their attempts to get information? Did they ever release it? Are they hiding something?

Obama is a natural-born U.S. citizen, wherever he was born, because his mother was one and his father was not validly married to his mother (because he had a wife in Kenya already). There is no question about this, legally. If my wife and I had been on vacation in Canada when our son was born, he would still be eligible to become President. Sheesh!
Now IF BHO Senior had been validly married to Miss Dunham, then the issue is legally murky, and I don’t have a strong opinion on whether that would invalidate Obama’s eligibility. But when there is a single mother, the biological father has NO legal relevance for matters like this.
Obama had this hole card all along and he encouraged the shortsighted conspirazoids exactly because if it ever was proven that he had been born in Kenya, he would just say “Wow, I never knew that, my Mom always said I’d been born in Hawaii, but I’ve still always been a citizen.” The courts would back him and there would be such an outpouring of anger at the attempt to cheat a black man out of the Presidency that the Republicans would be permanently damaged.

One other point — many doctors who “retire” from full-time medical practice to become administrators still see patients occasionally, which helps them stay current. My mother did this for several years after she had stopped being a full-time practicioner and had become a medical administrator.
This whole story smells like BS to me.
Obama Sr and Kezia were joined in a tribal ceremony similar to “jump the broom” Such a ceremony would not be accepted in the U.S. as a valid marriage!

I can put no trust into what this woman says regarding her Obama Encounters and I can put no trust into the what some interpreter states that Obama’s step elderly step grandmother may have said.
Thus all we have is documentation and facts:
The COLB
The Birth Announcement in the Honolulu newspaper
The Obama Indonesian school records that list Obama’s place of birth as Honolulu.
The knowledge that Obama holds a U.S. Passport
The fact that Dick Cheney swore Obama into the U.S. Senate in 2005
The fact that no member of the House or Senate objected to Obama’s certification as President-Elect.
The fact that the Chief Justice delivered the oath of office to Obama, not once but twice.
Your comments on patient confidentiality may be true for the environment today, but I am willing to bet money that if you called a hospital back in 1961 to see if a patient was admitted there, they would cheerfully look it up and say “Yes sir, he was admitted on Wednesday and is in room 523.”

Do you know where one could see a copy of Obama's Indonesian school records? I have never heard that Obama's place of birth was recorded in these records. Were would one go to find this information?
It is a crazy situation. A takeover of the US without a shot being fired.
So who is lying? This Obama worshiper or his Kenyan grandmother?
