Just a couple of nights ago, we heaped praise on the new president for announcing what he called a new era of openness, where in his administration, transparency would rule the day.
And the lobbyists that he was so critical of during the campaign? Well, he told us they will now face even tougher new restrictions.

Please, please don't make us all any more cynical than we already are, Mr. President.
If you have no intention of abiding by your new rules, then don't make new rules. That would be "actual" transparency.

CNN’s desperate attempt to distance themselves just far enough from the One to try to regain some semblance of credibility. They encouraged a lack of transparency around Obama so the annointed one would win. Hypocrites.
Never fear, they won’t be asking any questions or calling for any answers that might lead to the possibility of actually forcing him to answer. They will accpet any smooth answer he gives.
If it gets to the point that he doesn’t care what they think, he’ll only have done what he talked about in one his books-that he learned to approach whites in a disarming non-threatening way—that is, until he’s in a position to spit in their eye.
Campbell Brown has been one of the most rabid of those stricken with BDS.

That’s a pretty good piece! A pleasant surprise from Campbell Brown, who does a deadly dull and superficial news show. It’s pretty amusing that she includes her trademark “bullet points” even in a short op-ed. She must think everyone has a short little span of attention!

LOL! I think the exact thing every time I read it.
Yeah. It could be a head fake to make us think we might have a free press/newsmedia. Obama probably told them - say something bad about me the first week.
And, Campbell, is this REALLY a surprise to you?? Had you spent less time covering for him and swooning everytime he took a breath, you'd have known that this is how he would turn out.
We conservatives knew it and, according to you elitist libs, we aren't all that bright!!

This is why, in some small way, I felt sorry for Obama. He promised so much during the campaign that any sane individual knew he couldn’t deliver 100%. And I knew that when it became apparent that he couldn’t that the left, like the vultures that they are, would turn on him. It’s already starting to happen.
Don't be surprised to see a lot of this stuff over the next 18 months, until just before the midterm election, for the same reason. And then we will see nothing but positive news from these sources that we "so critical" of him.
As I’ve posted elsewhere, I give it six months before the media turns on him. Looks like it might be quicker than that !!
