I completely agree that he is wrong about justifying Merrill’s spending of the money on redecorating.

Are you bothered enough by it to agree with Obama and encourage government oversight of private business funds?

Government does 10x worse every day of the week and it is beyond nauseating to listen to Obama talk about what a betrayal it was.

I'd prefer to make this return accusation and then smack Merrill Lynch in private.

Smack them in private? Yeah, like that’s going to happen. You mean in private like the Harriet Meiers appointment? That should have been handled in private but instead it was made into a big media even that the MSM could use to hammer conservatives. Besides, it is time to throw out the idea that CEOs and big companies are somehow exempt from criticism because they promote free enterprise. Too many of these companies are very closely tied to the democrat agenda and were more than agreeable with the lending practices imposed by congress and past presidents because it made more money in the short run for them. Again, they were given money pushed by democrats and rinos with no strings attached and then showed no sense of responsibility in spending the money. BO Plenty does not give a rat’s ass about what they spent it on because he and the democrats put no limits on it on purpose. Merrill acts stupid and hands BO another issue to blast big business and conservatives over, but he will not back down from bailouts. If Merrill was worth worrying about they would have used good sense in spending the money conservatives did not want them to have in the first place.
