News outlets with a conservative bent

Posted on 01/25/2009 11:22:25 AM PST by freeangel

Not being familiar with any newpapers with a conservative bent, I wonder how many like the Pittsburgh Tribune are seeing an increase in circulation. Does anyone have a "local" paper that appeals to the non liberal view?

The Chicago Tribune isn’t nearly as bad as many of the other major dailies. Although it’s been dumbed down considerably over the last couple of years.

The Waterbury-Republican has great editorials. There’s a ping list for it. I’ll try to find it.

We could start a natiowide Free Republic paper to compete with USA Today. Print the truth and it will sell like hotcakes. I wanna buy a share.

It’s actually called the Waterbury Republican-American. Graybeard58 has the ping list.

How is ‘USA Today’ still in business? It’s a worthless pile of dung.

The New York Post is usually pretty good and it’s generally available from below the Philly area right on up through Conn. Maybe even wider. In the Philly area the only other decent choice is the Bulletin. Don’t touch anything else.

Hotel giveaways. If they give a choice, I'll always take the local paper instead of USALiberals Today.

“Washington Times (Moonies)”

-

No offense nor anti-Semitism intended, but isn’t that rather as if one were to say:

“New York Times (Jews)”

Isn’t the Manchester Union-Leader out of New Hampshire a pretty good paper?

sorry for the innocent chuckle ... Seeing conservative and newspaper in the same sentence, for me, is a pipe dream. I live in Upstate NY, in the only county in the country that usually goes to NADER.

Our Local paper makes the NY TIMES seem almost RIGHT WING, and makes the San FranSICKO papers seem almost MODERATE.

In the People’s Republic of Baltimore, The Examiner seems to lean a tad right off center.

My Democrat sister claims that the only reason I don't hate the "Pottstown Mercury" is because it is a Republican run Conservative newspaper. http://www.pottsmerc.com/

Of course the truth is merely that it isn't a total Left Wing Only rag.

but isn’t that rather as if one were to say:

No, because the Moonies aren't likely to persecute you for stating the obvious.
