BAY CITY, Mich. - A 93-year-old man froze to death inside his home just days after the municipal power company restricted his use of electricity because of unpaid bills, officials said.

I guess he should’ve paid them.
I thought Obama was going to take care of our utilities.
Global warming.
Surprised they could do this. Normally in the colder states these are the months where you can’t turn off power or gas. Wonder why if they could not contact him and were just waiting for a response that never came, it probably would have been quicker to just send someone over.
this guy’s family (who seems not to care a lick about his health) will certainly be crying on the news and hire a lawyer.
A sad way to go for a 93 year old man with no family.
This makes me feel bad. Someone should have been taking care of him. He should have been in a nursing home. No one was helping him. I wonder why.
At that age, it is reasonable everyone he knew was already gone.
I get the feeling this 93 old man had no one. Probably was tired and didn’t have much fight left in him and broke. That’s pretty much what happens toward the end...
Obama’s fault!
“this guys family (who seems not to care a lick about his health) will certainly be crying on the news and hire a lawyer.”
He had no family. No children, and his wife died. Probably had to choose between medicines and food or pay the city. He couldn`t pay the city, so the city executed him.
Electricity isn’t free.
Can you say EUGENICS?
Yes it is.
There’s more to this.
Article said his wife was deceased and he had no children. It’s a shame not even a neighbor was there to notice his situation and help him. Sad commentary on today’s society.
He was totally alone. He had no children and his wife passed away years ago.
it will be when Obammy creates all those “green jobs”.
Obama will solve this kind of problem shortly:
Instead of shutting off the power because of unpaid bills, utilities will be required to shut off the power to reduce carbon emissions.
Problem solved.
